“This is a very clean and affordable motel. Why pay double or triple the amounts when you can stay at this little gem?”

“At check-in, there were no 1st floor rooms available, desk clerk stated full house. My bad for not requesting 1st floor at time of booking. Room on 2nd floor was okay but didn't see a smoke alarm. Carpet old (be sure to wear slippers) but beds were good. It was quiet so thankful for that. For the price we paid we did expect more on the 'continental' breakfast, Only few cheap breakfast bars were available. Place felt like there wasn't any professionalism or ambition by staff required by……

“For the price, Days Inn could be much better. This stay was a reminder of why I don’t like to use Days Inn. There is always a remaining smell of smoke when you enter the building and dingy accommodations. On a positive note the room was fairly clean.”

“We arrived late. The office was closed, but there was a notice on the office door directing us to our room. The room door was unlocked. On the table was the key and information concerning our stay. Everything was better than described in the booking ad. In the light of morning we saw the yard next to the building had chairs, an area with chairs & a table under a canopy for shade. This is a definite place we will stay when in the Ironwood area.”

“The staff were friendly. No problem with them at all. The place is a weekly facility. I ended up paying over $1,000.00 for a 2wk stay through Expedia when I could have paid just $600.00 had I know it WAS a weekly. There was no housekeeping. I ended up washing my towels and cleaning the toilet. When I told friends and family where I was staying, they laughed at me and each one asked the same thing, “Why are you staying there? Going to hang out at the strip clubs?” These people grew up near that……

“My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this hotel! We have gone past it a number of times while camping in Ontonagon and thought it would be a “basic hotel”. We were wrong! It has a pool, hot tub, restaurant, bar, gift shop and very clean rooms. The employees were very friendly and the free breakfast was an upgrade from the usual fare at other hotels. We will certainly stay there again!”

“The hosts went above and beyond to provide amazing service. We received a reach out prior to coming, a tour when we got there and recommendations on where to rent sleds and a list of restaurants to go to dinner. One of us got hurt sledding, and they went above and beyond to help us with that unfortunate period event, which had nothing to do with renting us a room.”
