“View is great. Beds are comfortable. The sun comes in full on the back deck- which is great for morning coffee. The sun is full on the front deck which is great for sunsets. The full view of the water from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom is wonderful. Of note… the only plates and bowls available for renters are made of melamine which is not suitable for microwaves. Also, the very nice host, William, stays in a camper in the back yard. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this home……

“This stay was overall great. The only negative thing to say is that the unit is on the ground level of a large shared home with multiple units. This made the noise level from above and next door a little disruptive. However, the host was quick to remedy the problems we encountered which were very few. The place is decorated so nicely and I really appreciated that all of the cookware, utensils and appliances were clean and new! “ Rey clean lovely condo with a wonderful view of the river. Sunrise was gorgeous. Bed was super comfortable. Colonial beach is my new favorite little vacation town. Very friendly people. Our host was so responsive and welcoming. Much appreciate his quick response to questions. There were a lot of steps to climb to get to the condo but that’s probably a good thing for a Bach front property. We would definitely love to stay here again. ”

We only learned there were other guests in the basement from hearing their activity, then their smoke alarm going off from a cooking incident.
