The hosts are wonderful people, the property is gorgeous even without being able to see the view because of the smoke from fires elsewhere, and the food was amazing!

This is definitely a place to stay if you are in the area and are looking for a peaceful, homey cabin experience! The owners are fabulous and were so welcoming and helpful with our stay. I looked forward to breakfast made by Gene every morning and their 2 sweet doggies welcomed us to the property. Their homemade jam is delicious and I had to buy some to bring home! This place was such a gem so book it while it’s available!

Gene and Anne Marie are wonderful hosts. They provided everything I needed and were friendly and helpful. My room and bathroom were clean and cozy. An unexpected bonus was the amazing food - cooked by Gene and served on their patio with a view of the mountains of Glacier National Park. I look forwards to returning and cannot recommend the inn enough!

Wonderful Glacier Park West stay.

Wonderful stay. The proprietors treated us like family. Literally, since that also had family visiting. The husband is a published chef. Boy was breakfast great. Cute, quaint mountain home. I can’t say enough praises.

The breakfast was out of this world and we dined in last night at their b and b and it was delicious. Executive chef, Gene cooking was a 10 . This is a bed and breakfast not an Inn! Cons: The toilet is so small in both height and diameter that an adult's buttocks does not fit. Low water pressure! The bathroom is cramped. The bathroom floors were sticky. It left a residue on the bottom of my shoes that made them sticky, all day I could hear my shoes moving through the stores. The bed is broken... The headboard fell forward at us, the mattress was tacoing. Me and my husband werein a force cuddle all night. The 2 Dogs... It was a severe con for us. They wouldn't leave us alone. One tore my dress the moment I arrived by biting it from behind repeatedly. They barked during the day and in the middle of the night. The constant scratching at the door to be let in. When we came back home the second night we found out the owners had let the dogs sleep in our bed while we were gone (dirty bedding with paw prints and hair all over it). The accessibility... You can either walk down really steep slate stairs that are about 2X the depth that you would normally step or you can walk DOWN their steep and uneven lawn to the door where you then have to go up 2 tall steps before entering the house. 9. The twists and the turns of the gravel road were very nauseating for us. And the long drive was very wearing. 10. Other guests could look right through our Windows into our room. The curtains did not close all the way & with backlighting you could see through them. 11. So hot and stuffy.

We had a fantastic experience at the Inn. Gene and Anne Marie are wonderful hosts who take excellent care of their guests. Gene is an excellent chef, his breakfasts and dinners were outstanding. The views of the mountains from the balcony were breathtaking, and we loved watching all the hummingbirds fight over the feeders. Their dogs Willow and Juneau were the perfect greeters and kept us company during our entire stay. And we appreciated Gene and Anne Marie allowing our son to stay with us at the Inn - that made our visit perfect.

It’s a lovely location. The views are stunning. Their 2 dogs greet you and enjoy attention from the guests. Accommodations are very comfy. A plus is the in-house chef Gene, one of the innkeepers. His breakfasts are delicious. And you can even order a sumptuous dinner there chosen from quite an extensive menu. Ann Marie is a very gracious host too. A perfect getaway for anyone interested in slowing down and relaxing!!

The owners, Gene and Anne Marie were outstanding? I had a rough start to my trip, I hit a deer and totaled my car, and I really wanted to just turn around and go home. Fortunately, they encouraged me to stay and helped me to plan my trip every day I was there. I am a solo traveler and their support was tremendous. My hiking trip to Montana turned out to be a tremendous success with a few change in plans and I am so happy to have met these wonderful people who were so helpful.

What a peaceful and beautiful place to stay if you wish to get away to Northwest Montana or Glacier National Park. Gene and Ann Marie are gracious hosts and their home is very comfortable. Breakfast, while not the only reason to stay at Garrison Inn, is of itself a good enough reason! French toast, omelette, buckwheat pancakes, name your choice and be more than satisfied. Gene is a master in his kitchen. Our room had a lovely view of the mountains and was large and very comfortable. The entire house was decorated with care. We highly recommend!
