Came for golf tournament

The house was very big and had lots of beds/rooms/places to spread out. Overall was good stay. WiFi did not work consistently, and property manager kept texting me to try and fix it. Also gave out the door code to our house to strangers in the bungalow next door and told them to ‘go in house/no one was in there’ when we had already checked in and were just away from the property. Was not ok with that.

Great for our crowd

3 generations gathered for some family time. The kids loved the pool and game room. The kitchen and dining areas accommodate a crowd well. Grateful for the opportunity to bring everyone together!

Rustic Star

This is our 3rd summer staying at the Rustic Star and we will definitely be back! The whole process from check in to check out was seamless and any issues that came up were handled very quickly!

Best summer vacay in years

Very nice setup. Does not have a downstairs bedroom but we included the bungalow which worked out great. Elderly should know there are step ups and downs between most of the rooms. The kids loved the pool table and pool. There was plenty of room for quiet time but also to congregate.

Family fishing trip

We had a great time at the Rustic Star on our annual family fishing trip that we’ve been doing for over 30 years. There were 10 of us, just men and boys. There were plenty of room and beds, the pool table was a hit. We are looking forward to next year.

XC team

Roomy property for a big group. It was a very cold weekend and the fireplace was great to have, kept us warm. Property manager replied very quickly to anquwations or needs we had.

Harkins & Hoover family vacation

Best time ever! We had 8 months to 83 and everyone had a great time. Lovely pool and excellent amenities. Perfect for our family and the needs of all ages. Plenty of room for all… Thank so much for sharing your home with us and we can’t wait to come back next year!!!

Annual family trip

The house was big and had a ton of beds. Very well stocked with kitchen ware. The walk to the lake was really rough with rock and tall grass and stickers! Other then that great place and tons on fun

Family get-together

This is a large house,and is spread out well. All the bedrooms are upstairs, so sleeping wasn't an issue when people were having fun and being loud. We have a family of 11, so plenty of room. The lake is walkable along a rough path. We really enjoyed the pool. The only big issue we had is we didn't know beforehand that all the bedrooms were upstairs, and our group includes an 82 yr old and a 75 yr old, who can't do stairs easily

Baylor Commencement Family Stay

I recently stayed at this vacation rental home and had a wonderful experience. The kitchen was impressively well stocked with all the necessary utensils, cookware, and appliances. It made cooking and preparing meals a breeze. The home itself was spotlessly clean, and I appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining its cleanliness. The communication with the owner was excellent throughout the entire process. They were responsive, accommodating, and provided all the necessary information for a smooth stay. Overall, I highly recommend this vacation rental home for its well-stocked kitchen, cleanliness, great communication with the owner, and the ability to comfortably accommodate several guests.

Family Vacation

Nice sized house with plenty of room for large families. Kids enjoyed the pool and game room Lots of board games for rainy days. The walk to the lake is short. Bring good walking shoes as trail is rocky but that did not detour us from enjoying the lake fishing. Would stay here again

Spring break

It was an easy process and probably one of the best VRBO rental experiences we've had in a long time. The house was great, the lake was beautiful and we had a great time! Already planning on a summer trip!
