“The listing was so accurate, however the wildlife in the backyard was more than I could’ve hoped for. Sitting by the fire (they even provided wood, love!) and watching deer eat and bats fly by and we even got a woodpecker visitor. It’s nice and quiet all around and only 15 minutes from bigger towns. Sucks it rained most of the time and couldn’t do much exploring, but I think that was the universe telling us to take a break and relax. Stacy is so kind, they even left cute little chocolate bars……

“The Lake Michigan view is even better than it appears in the listing photos. We would definitely stay again. We brought along lawn chairs and spent a lot of time outside at the lakeside. Nice firepit to roast hot dogs and make s'mores. Bring along water shoes to really enjoy the shallow lake entry.”

“Check in went well with opening the home and getting settled in. The home was found as expected and advertised. We had plenty of wood for the fire pit and even had charcoal for the grill! There were well placed notes to communicate guest expectations and responsibilities, and we had plenty of room for our family of 7 adults and one grandchild. “Had a great stay at Boney Falls Basin. The house was a delight and very nicely remodeled. We loved picking apples and eating them right off the tree. It was also fun watching the deer eat the apples too. The corn hole game (provided) was a blast and just relaxing on the decks was so peaceful. The sunrises were beautiful in the morning to watch and game night with the adult kids was a lot of fun. A large variety of games are provided as well as a variety of kid oriented movies. “The pics on line give an accurate description of this lovely beachfront cottage. The sunrises were beautiful. We enjoyed the peaceful solitude. The fenced in yard added some peace of mind while vacationing with a pet. The owners really have thought of everything to make for a charming stay. 5 STARS. EXCELLENT.”

We loved the bonfire set up and how relaxing the living room was. “Always have a comfortable stay. Our room did have some loose wall covering and the toilet ran multiple times throughout the night… so there are some routine maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Food items available for the included breakfast was very nice and the eggs and sausages were way better than other places we have experienced.”
