"Beautiful property surrounded by scenic woods with lots of natural lighting. Well organized and cozy. Close to downtown Empire and downtown Glen Arbor with lots of different nearby beaches and of course the dunes. Host communicated everything clearly. Great place to stay! "

"A wonderful, relaxing, and clean home made our family vacation a worry-free, wonderful experience. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make meals away from home. The neighborhood was very quiet. The owner let us know that she would be there periodically thoughout our stay and assured us we would not be inconvenienced - she was 100% correct, we didn't even know she was there. The house is between Traverse City and Glen Arbor which made it very convenient to all we wanted to do in the area. Thank you for allowing us to walk down memory lane and create new memories of beautiful Northern Michigan. "
"The house worked very well for us. The location is fantastic, just a quick walk to Lake Ann Brewing for live music or to the Red Door Cafe for a morning coffee or a quick enough drive to anywhere in the greater Traverse City area.The house was clean and comfortable, and the host easy to communicate with and accommodating. "Well stocked kitchen including a variety of coffee pods and tea, all the pots and pans needed to cook dinner. Very clean. Beds comfortable. No privacy except bathroom as an FYI. Lovely pond and frogs galore. Only bummer was the Trump flag especially for our group (various marginalized people). Regardless of intention it does not create a welcoming feeling for all. "

"I felt fortunate to find this gem in Lake Ann, MI. It was a perfect location for the reason of our stay-a wedding in nearby Grawn, exploring Traverse City and beaches! We had no problem locating the property and check-in was easy and secure.Warm and welcoming, this wooded property is a quick 3-4 minute drive to the village of Lake Ann. This sweet town is a definite must on the ‘to check out’ list!Our host, Sarah, was quick to respond to any inquiries and it’s obvious the extra mile she goes to make you feel at home.The kitchen is well-equipped with all the basic kitchen-ware items and new appliances, along with some necessities such as spices and wraps. Bright and clean bathrooms also hold necessities, making it feel even more like home. Bedrooms are roomy enough for couples with plenty of storage for belongings and super soft linens.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we should need to come back to the area again, we would definitely make a return trip back to our ‘home away-from-home’.
