“Typical motel room. Adequate but nothing special.”

“Unfortunately I won’t stay at this motel again, there was nothing wrong with the room as a matter of fact I was very happy with it. When we arrived the desk person said we had paid for a higher rated room than had been allocated so they swapped the room. I said we would be leaving early and asked if there was a key box. There was. Tired after a long day of work and travelling we were in bed early, I got hot and decided rather than put on the aircon I’d move to the single bed. The following……

“The team at Charlton Motel were very accomodating with a very late check-in everything was organised for my arrival. The motel is pet friendly for a small additional fee which is fantastic. My little poodle had a great time. Rooms are neat, clean, well presented and comfortable. A great stop over on a long trip or a great base to explore the local area.”

“Good access from main road. Easy and clear car parking. Comfortable bed although a little firm. Soft pillows. Good to have microwave oven, toaster and kettle. Two desert spoons may have been helpful as well as two cereal bowls.”

“I personally don’t think the room was worth $125 via Expedia. The ‘pelmet structure’ for the fluorescent lighting was a little problematic when sitting up as overhangs Queen bed & you could bang your head! For a single night it is fine but owners need to remodel the rooms if they are anything like the one we stayed in? Wifi was ok but not strong. The TV was good with streaming channels. Bathroom was very cold & positive is that there was great pressure & hot! Air Con works in main room for……
