"Great hotel, next to the witch market. Do not expect a 5 star hotel with a lot of luxury but it had everything we needed. Good breakfast - great location and you can book your tours at the reception and change currency at the hotel"

"We booked this hotel last minute for 2 nights and did not do much research on it before booking. We we're pleasantly surprised by how new and clean this hotel was for the price. WiFi worked great and we had a great view of the city. Great helpful staff and good location near all the main tourist attractions. Unfortunately we had to leave the country early due to Coronavirus border closings. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in La Paz."

"Overall, I really liked this hotel for its location. I was frustrated with the WiFi as it didn’t work on my devices for part of my stay. Breakfast had a good assortment of food. "

"Only stayed here for a night. Nothing fancy, just a bed with a shower (what you expect for the price). The breakfast was okay, but staff were so helpful especially Josua (afternoon shift young man). Despite of the language barrier, he did his best to communicate and was very pleasant and helpful! "

"We loved our stay at Atix! The staff was so helpful and nice, our room was comfortable and quiet. All the art in the building is so unique and it gave the hotel a great personality. We also absolutely loved the indoor pool and sauna. We watched the most beautiful sunset overlooking the city and Mountain View from the pool while eating empanadas from the pool area. Incredible stay. Definitely recommend!!"
"The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The view was amazing from my room and especially from the restaurant. Food and restaurant service was great."
"The most flexible hotel I have stayed at! When we had a delayed bus and needed to change our booking at short notice, the hotel obliged and gave us a room immediately without making us pay for the room we no longer needed on a different date. I am very happy at how flexible and obliging they were. We stayed in a suite and it was a huge room with everything that you needed. The gas heater kept it very warm too. "
"The building in general, the rooms and common areas, their good restaurant.
All very nice and good.
Located in the craziness of La Paz downtown yes, but once inside the hotel is an oasis of cleanliness and peace.
Make sure you get a room facing inside, the one facing out was loud at night."
"When you're in high altitude, what you moat need is a nice place to rest and that's exactly what Residencial Alta Vista meant to us. Rooms are very comfortable, with central heating and a hot shower. Rodrigo, Tania & Reynaldo, the staff, are kind and helpful; they made us feel so at home, including the landlady who prepared our breakfast every morning. The location is great too because it's a safe area right in the heart of Mercado de Brujas with lots of shops with handicraft and musical instruments. There are also a few eating options around. Finally, the view is fantastic from the hotel. We were very lucky bc from our room we could see the beautiful Illimani, but if you don't get a room like ours, you ca always go up to the top floor and get an amazing view from there too. We highly recommend ALTA VISTA if you are in La Paz."
"We had a lovely time there! However there are no heaters in the rooms so you will be a bit cold. Also there is a window at the top of the door that lets the light in from the hall 24/7. Extremely warm and helpful staff."
"I liked the air conditioning in my room and the hot shower. The bed was also very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would return there again. The breakfast was also great."

"The apartment was well furnished and comfortable. It was in a nice neighborhood close to grocery stores. We were able to walk to many places. It made our trip a success. The host was helpful and friendly which contributed to the enjoyment. "
"I'm the heat of the historic district it was easy to navigate the local attractions, find a taxi and we had dining options. The rooms were eclectic, had warm water most of the time and the breakfast was ok. Some outside noise filtered in unless bathroom door shut, no elevators (if needed) or free daily water."
"Great hotel in a perfect location. The staff were really helpful and went out of their way to make sure that our stay was comfortable.
Good wholesome breakfast buffet.
The room was spacious with a nice bathroom. Lots of good bars and restaurants nearby. Plenty of landmarks close by. No hesitation recommending this hotel "
