The living area has 2 lounge chairs and a queen sized sofa bed (a memory foam topper can be placed on the mattress for added comfort).
Step out onto the main deck and relax on a lounger or sit back and enjoy the dinner you prepared on the BBQ while watching the sunset over the lake and mountains.
The bedroom has a king size bed, walk in closet, and ensuite with large shower. Patio doors open to a private deck offering the perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee while taking in the sun or reading that favourite novel.
North Shore Estates offers a private beach with a pebble swimming area and is the perfect spot to take a refreshing dip in the clear waters of Lake Cowichan. Or take a hike on the beautiful trails at Bald Mountain only a few minutes drive away.
There is so much to do within a short distance. The Cowichan Valley Trail, part of the great Trans Canada Trail, is ideal for taking your bike out for a ride, or for a shady walk on a hot summer day. If you want to just unwind and chill for the day, head into town and rent a river tube. Bring along snacks, beverages and sunscreen, then hop into your tube and float along the Cowichan River for a relaxing day. At the end of the day, enjoy a meal on your deck or walk to town for dinner.
Lake Cowichan is centrally located on the southern part of Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia. It's proximity makes it ideal for day excursions to Victoria, Nanaimo/Parksville, Nitinat Lake (windsurfing), Port Renfrew and the Juan de Fuca Strait.
