Poro Island Cheap Vacations

It’s a lovely resort with super friendly and helpful staff. They make your stay really enjoyable. However, do not expect much from the beach, I think they have sewerage going straight to the water. We could really not stand the smell leave alone to swim here. I don’t think this is the fault of the hotel but I think it’s worth mentioning.

The hotel was very clean. The rooms were very nice and a lot of space. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Glenn, one of the managers was very helpful, especially to my family. We encouraged other family members to leave their current hotels close by to join us at our hotel. The pool was fantastic and the restaurant/food selections were great. This is a prime location to stay when visiting Cebu. This is located very close to the airport vs. staying somewhere near the SM mall. We visit Cebu frequently and love all of the amenities the Reef offers. We suggest that you book the deluxe room, which includes a big bathtub and a large patio deck. Definitely worth the price.

All the staff are respectful. The sea view room clean and beautiful. I recommend 100%

Definitely one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed at in the Philippines. The hotel looked similar to the hotels in Las Vegas, most likely because it also housed a casino. I stayed in one of the premiere rooms with access to the private lounge on the top floor. The treatment by the lounge staff was deserving of the status of a 5 star hotel as it allowed all of our needs to be handled by the separate concierge staff in the lounge instead of the front desk downstairs. The breakfast inside of the lounge was great because it wasn't crowded and had a great selection of various foods that were not limited to your normal bacon and eggs breakfast. The hotel also was connected to a small upscale mall that that had a few different restaurants in it as well. Unfortunately, most of the stores in the mall were not the usual venues that I would patronize, but at least it allowed for a little window shopping. One bonus that the mall had was there was movie theater attached as well. Being a veteran of many Las Vegas adventures, the casino left much to be desired. Much smaller than the casinos in Vegas, and not a big variety of the more popular slots in the US. The only negative that I could find about the hotel was the location. Although there was a shopping mall listed as being in the area, it was not safe to walk there as it was across a major highway that did not have a crosswalk nearby. Overall, If I could just rate the staff and cleanliness of the hotel, it's a 10.

The front desk staff of Zhu, Jeril, and Ben, were simply amazing!!! The room was super clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed two things the most, the pool and the breakfast. The pool was really clean and well attended by the staff. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. There were so many food choices that changed every day. Also, the staff at the breakfast were always at ready to help you in any way. We will make Quest our hotel of choice in Cebu.

The best resort I have been to in Cebu. Impeccable service and everyone were very polite and courteous. They made me feel such a VIP from getting off the vehicle to checking in and throughout my entire stay. I would like to mention or call the attention of some of the employees: Eh la- Front office Filamer & Johndry ( Azure) Wendell- room service Claire- Saffron Johnny- Conceirge Merba- Housekeeping Kudos to everyone not mentioned especially the gardeners as well. I wished I could have stayed longer. I promise to return and bring guests with me.

Nice resort right on the beach. There is a pool and a designated swimming area right off the adjacent beach. Breakfast was nice with a choice of American or Filipino favorites. Staff was friendly and helpful, and provided overnight laundry service. The only downside is it’s about a 20 minute walk back out to the main road where there are other shopping and restaurant choices. Not a deal breaker though, as Grab will come directly to the resort and take you wherever you need to go.
