10 mins walk from Central Station. This area is dirty and quiet a lot of homeless. An 4-star hotel right across A&O. Many solo travelers stayed here. Many buses access to main attraction from Central Station. Many restaurants closed by. The rooms are clean and showering power is strong. No coffee and tea offered. Breakfast is decent. Very complicated to use the laundry machine. We end to give up. The hotel in Salzburg is rather expensive. I would recommend this one acceptable.

Altstadt Hotel Hofwirt. The location is perfect—right across from the hotel you can walk to Salzburg's old town in seconds.
Our room was cozy and clean , the lobby was very clean as well the staff were very helpful & friendly.
