Airport pickup efficient, checkin easy, room clean, tasty breakfast. Nothing to fault. The staff are especially welcoming and nice. Our second time at Terrace Green, definitely not the last time!

Clean rooms and available facilities. Changing facilities at end of stay were fantastic. Food was lovely and the availability and choice was really good. Sauté was our favourite of the speciality restaurants.

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival and were checked in at the Club Lounge, where the service has been consistently exceptional. The Club Lounge team especially Upeksh, Prasanna, Wasantha, Damith, Dilshan, and Chain — have been outstanding throughout our stay. Breakfast was very good, and overall the staff are friendly and attentive. However, I observed several issues that should be addressed. Internal communication between departments needs significant improvement. On multiple occasions, despite informing the team that we extended our stay, both my wife and I received repeated calls and had our keys disabled twice. This happened four times, and we did not receive an appropriate personal apology, which is expected from a five-star property. Additionally, some minor health and safety concerns and inaccuracies in menu descriptions were raised, but no one followed up to confirm whether these were being addressed. Acknowledgement and feedback are essential in maintaining professional standards. Overall, we are still staying at the hotel and would recommend it, especially due to the excellent Club Lounge service. However, operational consistency and communication need to be improved. Loved the lake and surrounding area. It was so serene. Breakfast was included and was amazing. It was cozy detached cabana type of room. Friendly staff.

The Fortress is a simply magnificent Resort. This beach front Resort has all the facilities you can ever want for a relaxing and truly enjoyable experience. (pools, spa, gym, great restaurants and Bar, delicious and an array of foods just to name a few.) The staff are amazing, very hospitable and always welcoming and friendly. We travelled from Australia and stayed two nights in the Ocean room which was very spacious and clean with all the facilities you need. We had our Wedding Ceremony at the Fortress and there is simply no words to describe the wonderful experience we had. Every aspect of our wedding ceremony was professionally and meticulously arranged by the staff at the Fortress. From organising the necessary marriage documents to the floral arrangements, wedding bouquets and bower, decorations, cake, celebrant, music, photography, special celebratory dinner, and the list goes on., we couldn’t have been happier with all of these things and the very best service we received at the Fortress. A special mention to our wedding coordinator ‘GAYANI’ who went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding ceremony was successful and memorable. Her attention to detail and dedication to make sure we were happy with all the arrangements is something we will always remember and be grateful for. From the time we arrived until we checked out the service was exceptional. All the staff never fail to smile and greet us. The food was delicious & the atmosphere was refreshing.
