The all inclusive was what I loved. Didn’t have to spend any extra money unless you wanted too. I would say I was disappointed that the jerk chicken shack was being painted and I never was able to eat any Also the auction every day was only 2 items. By the time we finally caught it. It was our last day so I ended up giving my Riu bucks to another guest. They should definitely auction off more than 2 items. Especially since it’s small items like coffee mugs

The pool, hot tub, resort restaurants and the beach was wonderful, the service excellent. The casino it is just for entertainment purposes on my respective opinion, you never win .

The staff was VERY nice and friendly. There were very limited dining options, and the dinning was almost offensively over-priced. It wouldn't have been that bad except that there are really not many choices to go and eat. This is not a resort, but rather it is more like an air bnb community. I probably would not stay there again, and not that it was bad, but it just wasn't where I would want to revisit when going to Exuma. There was not much to do within the compound.

4th year, of 5 day stays, 4 months in a row, staying at Valentines Resort and Marina. Location and amenities were a strong 4 star in the beginning. But each year has gotten worse. Room maintenance has deteriorated but worse has been the staff and dining / bar area. Quality and speed of service and food has gotten horrible. Seems to be plenty of wait staff available but little desire to be attentive or diligent in their duties. Meanwhile menu choices have reduced and quality of food preparation has declined. Food / bar quality and service is a huge part of any resorts amenities. This decline can only be laid on management. It is a shame to see this decline as Valentines was a great experience all around. And could be again.

The Goldwyn went above and beyond anywhere I’ve ever stayed. Perfect service and room was excellent.

Very nice place to enjoy a quiet and beautiful weekend, very friendly and profesional staff. Stunning beach to sunbathe... Definitely will be back at this hotel
