Because we never stayed at a Han-ok (traditional Korean house), we had ambivalent feeling about staying in Sam-lock-hon (easy to pronounce this way), which means three-blessing house. The three blessings traditionally include having healthy parents and siblings, no shame or guilty thing toward others, and having bright disciples. When we stepped through its gate, we became realized that we made a right choice. We enjoyed three types of joy before, during, and after our stay at Sam-lock-hon. As...

Amazing breakfast. It was absolutely one of the highlights of my trip to Jeonju. The room is extremely warm even in cold winter. We got a free upgrade to the room due to our luggage size. The owner is friendly and attentive! I would love to stay here again for my next trip to Jeonju. Highly recommended!

This home was so charming, clean, and perfectly located for walking around town. I loved that we were on a quaint alley away from the nightlife but close to all the sites. And the owners spent a long while helping us pick where to go. Really wonderful people. Wish they were my grandparents lol so I could visit their cute home. My only regret is only staying one night.

I had a lovely stay here. The staff members were incredibly kind and helpful, providing excellent local information. The entire property is also very well-maintained and clean.
A few quick things to keep in mind for your stay:
The Bedding: The duvets were a bit too thick for the summer heat, but thankfully, the air conditioning worked perfectly and easily kept the room comfortable.
The Room Style: I chose the traditional room and didn't mind sleeping on a yo (Korean floor mattress) at all....

This hotel experience was by far the best during my one month vacation in Korea. The management team was second to none. They made our stay in Jeonju very comfortable. The breakfast was so good and selection was plenty.

The owner greeted us at the front entrance so that our taxi could easily find the Hanok. She walked us to our room, explained how everything worked, suggested a time for her to deliver breakfast the next morning, then handed us a tour map.
We had the family room, even though there were just two of us. We had a queen sized futon on a bed frame. It was super comfortable. The room had two bathrooms. It was even stocked with toothpaste and a hair dryer. There was a room nearby where you could fix...
