"Do no judge this hotel on the photos, very Outdated. Hotel is Ok but starting to look a little run down. Rooms are very compact. Staff very friendly but hotel lets it down. If your expecting to see horses, you'll be disappointed, as they have been gone for a number of years now and equipment and school not used for a long time. Food at the hotel is also very expensive even for Switzerland standards, so would recommend eating out. Parking is also limited at the hotel and on a first come basis. "

We were told we had to inform them of arriving after 8pm but this was not mentioned in our Hotels.com reservation. The following morning reception called us to offer us advice on the surrounding area as we did not have any time during a normal check in process. I thought that this was a very nice touch. I wish i got the server and chefs name, best meal in germany so far. We were able to walk down to a park a few blocks away to view the lake. I wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area. "

Also, while we didn’t need any of the „wellness“ amenities, we thought the rule to be charged extra $ for the use of slippers and robe ridiculous. Bed was the old fashioned double single and noisy. The breakfast offer was decent and included a freshly cooked omelette."

"This is an older property, but it was clean and a short walk to the Rhein falls, our reason for being there. Sam and her husband Sunny were great in helping us get parked and orienting us to the area. They even stored some food overnight for us. King bed was comfortable and breakfast was great..eggs, yogurt, cheese ham, breads, cereals and fruit. For the price I’d highly recommend."

"Nice clean rooms and good breakfast in a former monastery, but unfortunately the place has lost its religious aura and spirituality; it has been transformed into a secular center where various groups offer educational courses. Rooms had less wood and more concrete than expected. The church had strict opening hours and was only accessible with a museum ticket. Definitely not a place inviting for meditation or prayer, as it had been intended when it was built. Electric cars can be charged at cost...
