The staff speak English and Portuguese and were friendly and helpful and more than you could ask for, and the food was delicious, best selection of local produce you could ask for. "The hotel is not modern but has modern upgrades in the rooms and is right on the waterfront. It is the only property for about 4 km so a car is necessary (also needed for the beaches). The restaurant food is high quality. The staff were helpful and eager but they were understaffed while we were there, so seem rushed all the time. "
