"We've stayed for a week at Doug and Lucy’s place in June 2025. We had a really great time, enjoyed everything. Mostly spent time on the lake - swimming, kayaking, fishing. Kids had fun at the beach and playgrounds at the Elrod Ferry Recreation Area, which is just a few minutes drive down the road. Groceries and shopping (Walmart and ALDI) are less than 10 minutes away. Overall, a very nicely located quiet place on the lake. Will definitely try to come back next year."

"This is a historic inn with a lot of charm. The staff is fantastic. The location at the corner of the town square is ideal. It needs a little work with little things like paint, etc. but it is a very old inn. I will definitely stay there again."
