“VRBO owner Filomena Benevento's title should be the "ambassador" of historical city Tricarico! Filomena was gracious for having a late evening dinner with local goodies in the fridge due to our late arrival, to taking us on a tour of her city. Once she discovered we were wine producers from California on a research trip of Nebbiolo, Sangiovese and Aglianico in the Basilicata wine region, she arranged the meeting of local Cantina owners to view their vineyards and very historic cantinas.
