Beautiful Cabin on private lake close to all the attractions in the Eastern UP!

Come for a get away at Papa’s Place!!! This newly remodeled cabin sits on a quiet, private lake, with a large main floor, master bedroom, and a loft with a pair of twin beds. You will find a fully furnished kitchen, brand new appliances, and spacious dining area. A great place for relaxing, you can take a ride around the lake in a paddle boat, fish off of the dock, or have some S’mores around the campfire. Enjoy the sunrise over the lake while sitting next to a cozy fireplace in the cold months, or from the deck in the warm months. Crank up the AC if you need to cool off! Located just off of I-75, and situated between Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace, it is the perfect gathering spot to enjoy all that the Upper Peninsula has to offer. Just over 1 mile from the Chippewa County Airport, and only a 15 mile drive from the Soo Locks. For the winter months, it is conveniently located within a hundred yards of some of the best snowmobiling trails in the Eastern Upper Peninsula!

Great place by the water
Very clean and quiet. Great place to stay. Had BBQ hamburger while sitting on deck looking at water. Very peaceful. After dinner, had fire in firepit and relaxed beside fire while enjoying the lake. Will stay again.

I rented this property for one night to celebrate my boyfriends graduation from college. He had sent me this to look at and we were both completely stunned! Its absolutely amazing, really clean, so easy to navigate to from the expressway, and such a cute place to stay!!! We really appreciated the communication from the host as well!! Thanks again!

We LOVE the cabin. It was the cleanest and coziest rental we've rented. The weather wasn't the best but we ventured out despite it. The mattress wasn't good at all - no support after a long day of hiking. We easily dismissed it because the location was ideal for reaching the state and national parks we wanted to see. There aren't many options for dining out nearby, but as we widened our travels we found decent dining in more populated and touristy (is that a word) areas. Overall, we would return and recommend it highly.

Great Spot! Great times!
We had a delightful one-night stay at this cozy cabin, conveniently situated just off I-75, an ideal base for exploring the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. Its serene lakeside location provided a fantastic setting for a beautiful bonfire, enhancing our evening with magical ambiance. Despite our short stay, the tranquility of the lake and the comforting warmth of the bonfire etched beautiful memories in our hearts. We wish we had more time to enjoy the serene mornings and captivating scenery. This cabin is a gem, and we look forward to returning for a longer stay to fully appreciate its charm.
