"Good stay "

"We enjoyed our stay. We have used this hotel before and we’re not disappointed. Our tiny dog got a big welcome with pats and a treat. We noticed the hotel’s nice decor upgrading, but wondered why the carpet was frayed where it met the vinyl tile. It needs to be trimmed out. However, that didn’t bother us. The TV was difficult to figure out at first. Otherwise, this hotel gave us a restful, clean, and safe experience, and we will return there again. "

"Check in was easy. The room and bedding was clean. The hotel is a little older but they had obviously painted recently and put down new flooring. We loved having a room overlooking the lake. We even had a private seating area on the balcony. There is a dock behind the hotel with benches where people could dock boats and some of the guests had fishing rods and were fishing off the dock. It was nice to sit and watch the water at night. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again next time we go to Guntersville."

"Easy to find just outside the gates of Smith Lake Park. Cabin is right next to the boat launch parking and restroom but the boat launch is further to the left. No issues at all from sound or problems with either. The view out to the lake is stunning and the cabin is nicely equipped and very cozy. We loved it and will be back."
