The hotel itself was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The view from our balcony room was stunning, and the room itself was very nice. However a few things came to us as a surprise during our stay and were frusrating. First, i did not get the room i booked through expedia. I booked a 1 king+sofa bed, and they gave a room with only 1 king bed, saying the sofa bed are reserved for parties of 3 or more. This rule was never stated anywhere, and i booked a room with a sofa bed. As well my mom came with me on this trip, only my name was on the reservation, and they said they charge an extra 25euros per night per extra guest. That seemed ridiculous, thankfully the staff were kind enough to waive this fee. As well, the AC in our room was broken the first 2 nights, but was fixed. We have 4 keycards die on us through the trip and constantly had to be going to the desk to re issue our key cards. The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk to old town split, and the hotel itself is on a hill. There are no dining options close by. We wanted to order from the pool menu one night, only to be told the pool menu closes at 6pm, this was not posted anywhere, so with no dining options nearby we had to eat from the hotel buffett which was 35euro p/p for standard, limited option food. We also wanted to go for a night swim, only to be told the pool closes at 7pm, which is also not posted anywhere. Good hotel overall although transportation services of the hotel can be improved. Nice location and very helpful staff.
