Amazing support from the manager after I had a tyre blow out on the way up to daughter’s graduation. He literally took care of everything involved in getting my car picked up from the hotel after the AA dropped it off there, which helped me concentrate on the big day for my daughter and our family. Lovely, lovely man

First time staying here. It is clear the hotel is undergoing major upgrading and there is information in the rooms to reflect that. Would be helpful to have that on the website too (sorry if already there and missed) just to manage expectations.
Room was lovely and staff very friendly and bent over backwards (special shoutout to Ruby).
I understand why £100 deposit is being taken but do think this will be putting a lot of families off staying esp when there are so many competing hotels nearby.
Overall though a lovely stay in a great area and fab sights. Really hope they do manage to continue the upgrade as such a special building.

Clean room. Very spacious with good beds, large tv with plenty of channels. Really good bathroom. Excellent location but surprisingly quiet. Minor disappointment was the hefty deposit per person - although possibly/maybe understandable. Door security by code - just make sure you have your goggles & not the beer kind. Overall - a really good experience.
