The staff is wonderful, catering to your needs and making sure you’re stay is comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, and our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, from the front door and through the interior when you walk in, as well as the back porch is lit up with lights beautifully at night. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Oxford but the cab service can take you in and out with a round trip fee. We enjoyed talking with the driver and she was great getting us where we needed to be. Bruce is a small town, and the other options are not great. And Grenada, Oxford, and Houston are a 45 minute drive. Having said that, the Cart Barn is great. Spacious room, comfortable bed, refrigerator in room and ice maker down the hall. It’s in a large metal building that has only about 10 rooms. Our room, number one, was very comfortable. The only shortcoming was that it only has a shower, no tub. The owner is a very nice and accommodating lady named Kay . She is awesome. She asked what time I wanted breakfast and she was up waiting on me. And the breakfast was a great, home cooked country breakfast with fresh eggs, bacon, potatoes rolls, OJ, etc. The place is decorated nicely with a western theme and plenty of Mississipi memorabilia.
