Beautiful location!
Everything was excellent! Complex pool was private and views were gorgeous. Club pools and beach access idyllic! Only downside was that master bed was very very hard! Thank you for everything!

A Vacation from our Vacation
The property at Reserva Conchal was just as advertised and gave our family time to rest and relax after 5 days of adventures in the jungle. Having access to the beach club and connecting beach was a dream. Both the property owner and property management were easy to work with and they set up a fabulous catamaran trip for us.

Lovely vacation
The Condo was perfect and had everything we needed for preparing meals as we generally cooked breakfast & lunch. The view overlooking the golf course on the balcony was great for enjoying an early morning cup of coffee or the stars at night. The access to the beach club 7 min drive away plus fitness center and easy access to beach were wonderful amenities. We stopped by the Westin front desk one morning and got access to the hotel amenities like Pool (not the all included). The cost for all included 8-5pm is $130 per guest which if you want to splurge and have a large appetite should be well worth it. The ocean was like being in a huge pool with crystal clear water most days and very refreshing. The condo pool area is great too with its own kitchen in case you want to heat up a meal too. Look forward to returning.

Fabulous stay for our family
We had a great time staying at the condo. The Reserva was amazing and the whole family loved the Beach Club. The pool and the beach are magnificent. It's about an 8 minute drive through the property, but once there you can stay all day. It's a perfect spot for a relaxing Costa Rican beach vacation with kids. The property manager was very communicative and responsive which is important since you will need to know what you do and do not have access to while staying there.

Best of both worlds
The Bougainvillea was a great spot for our family. Very spacious and great view. The access to the beach club was like staying at a resort. And the restaurant at the beach club was good too. The shuttle service was very convenient and we used it often as we didn’t rent a car. Getting off the complex is a bit difficult without a car but manageable, but you are somewhat secluded, which can have its pros and cons. I would highly recommend this condo.

Great condo + Great location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The condo was clean, spacious and had a beautiful view. The property managers were extremely helpful in arranging transportation and excursions for us. The washer was broken, but they arranged to do our laundry for us, which we appreciated. The beach club was wonderful--great pools and easy beach access. We'd definitely stay there again!

Safe, Secure and Scenic!
The Bougainvillia condominium is located in the Westin Conchal Reserva gated community. There are several condominium complexes and private homes within this community. On several occasions, we took a shuttle down to the Westin Beach Club which is a facility with a nice indoor-outdoor restaurant and pool. All the Westin units are located close by this facility and there are also some shops to visit as well. The Bogainvillias units overlook the Westin Reserva Golf course (RTJ II Troon course), which was a little spendy to play but well worth the price. When we travel we enjoy preparing most of our meals. This kitchen was well-stocked with everything you would need, and even storage bowls for left-overs (which is not all that common in many other places). While we had only 3 of us this visit, it would easily fit 3 couples or a family of 5 (or 6 if you wanted to double up in one of the queen beds.

Fantastic!
We travelled to Costa Rica with our children 21, 19 and 17 and grandma, to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The property at Reserva Conchal exceeded our expectations. We are an active family that enjoyed the hiking paths, pools, paddleboarding, kayaking and snorkelling all within the confines of the property. The Bougainvillea pool was a beautiful place to spend time too. The food at the Beach Club restaurant, Neenda, was delicious and the service was good. Highly recommend!

Paradise
We stayed at this condo for 10 days Jan 9-12th. The location is great. There is a lovely pool close to the unit and a larger pool by the beach which is a 10 minute drive or a 15-20 minute walk. The beach has beautiful white sand and is not crowded. Would highly recommend a beach massage. There are many restaurants in the area and quite a few small grocery stores. Lots of howler monkeys in the reserve which we enjoyed immensely. This is our 4th trip to Costa Rica and this location is by far our favorite. Will definitely be returning.

Great golf, beautiful beach and amazing sunsets.
Everything worked quite perfectly for our two couples to just enjoy a week of fun and relaxation. The place is large enough for privacy and cozy enough for nice dinners cooked at home. WiFi worked well to catch up on a little work and families. Westin’s golf course is exceptional. Easily obtained tee times around 2 got us in before dark and in a cooler part of the day. All the staff are very friendly throughout the property. We found a shorter walk to the beach club whereas driving was quite round about. We took good advantage of the excellent gym but Westin yoga classes etc are not available for condo guests. Overall just about perfect for 4 Minnesotans in January.

As Good as advertised
Comfortable large condo., similar to other condos in high-end beach developments in CR . In excellent shape, well maintained and really well equipped kitchen. Property manager very attentive and responsive. Condo is at far side of development - a long way from the beach club. The resorts shuttle service was not that great, so we found it more convenient to take our car to the beach club. Very quite, relaxing comfortable condo, and the facillities of the resort (gym, beach club, etc) are excellent, Beach is beautiful, and nice sunsets.

Wonderful place
Amazing place! I love the Reserva Conchal. This is my second year and will continue to go back. So much to do there and wonderful amenities : Beach, trails, hotels, restaurants, bike riding , nice beach club , gym, etc. Reserva Conchal is my happy place ! This place is a must! I loved this condo: quiet, beautiful view, clean, spacious and nicely decorated.

Fantastic place in a beautiful spot
We very much enjoyed staying in this condo in Conchal Reserva. Conchal Reserva is a special spot because most of it is dedicated to a preservation of the dry forest. The beach club and pool are great, and the staff is very helpful. Its location means that if you have a car, which is strongly recommended, Tamarindo, Flamingo, and Potero are 10 to 20 minutes nearby; it is also possible to go to the mountains in a couple of hours-- so this is really an ideal location. The views of the ocean from the master bedroom and the living room were amazing. We very much enjoyed eating meals on the patio looking at the great view. The place is very clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. It was spacious enough for two adult couples, and could also have easily accommodated one or two children. If you like to do some cooking during your stay, which we did, the kitchen is spacious, well organized, and well equipped. The owners sent a very helpful welcome letter with good suggestions on possible activities, places to eat, etc. They responded quickly and helpfully to all communications with them.

Best Airbnb (out of 20 or so that I’ve seen)
Great condo, a great property, great hosts who were very responsive and went beyond to assist and ensure a pura vida experience (even from afar). Office was always on site to help as well. Horseback riding, jet skiing, volcanoes, river boat with crocs and monkeys ... a safari and adventure. Family of 5 had a wonderful experience. (WiFi could use upgrade but that is nitpicking). Highly recommended!!

Great condo in Costa Rica
We loved our stay in Costa Rica over Christmas week. This is a beautiful condo with all you'd need for day to day living. The owners are very responsive and easy to work with. This is a very quiet location. The only downside is the condo a ways from the beach, but it's a nice work and there is a convenient shuttle. Access to Westin is another fee and you have to watch for private events where you can't dine at the Beach Club. All in all, a great stay. Thanks!

There is no fee to access the Westin resort, pool or restaurants. The only fees are for the purchase of all inclusive meal and drink packages. (Note: the Westin reserves the right to limit the number of all inclusive packages sold. They are likely to place limits when the hotel is at full capacity, especially at Christmas and Easter.) You may make reservations at any of the restaurants by contacting the concierge.

My family and I had a wonderful time during our vacation.
It was an amazing experience, the condo is very clean, the location is ideal to visit not one but a few different beaches that are not far. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Definitely an excellent place to go and enjoy of nature.

A lovely respite from the heat and crowds
We loved this condo!! It is laid-out so well, with two full baths, three bedrooms (the master bed and bath is by itself), a huge and well-appointed kitchen, a comfortable living room, large dining area, balcony, and laundry. It was a perfect place for our family of four to end our vacation. The decor is beautiful. The little pool in the condo area was nice for a quick dip. The Beach Club is quite a drive away - maybe 5-8 minutes, but the pool there and breakfast buffet were both wonderful. The beach area beyond the pool has chaise lounges, and the vendors selling drinks and sight-seeing trips were not at all intrusive or annoying (as other Westin reviewers have said). The beach is gorgeous white sand, but the surf can be a little rough for small kids. We saw Howler monkeys in the trees along the road and heard them early in the mornings. The view over the golf course, trees and the glimpse of the ocean was beautiful. All the ceiling fans and great AC kept the place perfectly cool. The beds were very comfortable. The condo was spotless. We arrived early at the complex and were allowed to use the Beach Club while waiting for the maids to clean the condo -- but then the unit wasn't ready by the 3:00 check-in time, so we had to wait about another hour before we could get the key. That was a little frustrating after a long hot day, but the maid service every day after that was efficient and thorough. There were ample towels and toiletries, but you should bring your own dishwasher and laundry detergent and kitchen basics, including salt! Brasilito is the nearest town (just a 3 minute drive), and it has some good restaurants and shops. El Mangar (on the beach in Brasilito) was our favorite restaurant, we went snorkeling with Lazy Lizard, and used SwissTour through the concierge for zip lining. The concierge (Julianne in particular) was very helpful. We really loved this place and would love to come back again someday. Thank you!

Great Condo!!!
I absolutely loved this Condo. The sunsets were spectacular!!! The housekeeping service was phenomenal. This really sweet lady will come to make the beds and clean the place everyday. The only problem we had was with the Westin Resort services. We were declined to use their discounts at their facilities every time. BUT, Tom the owner of the condo is aware of the situation and hopefully it will been taken care for future guests. Go and Enjoy it!!!!!!!

Fabulous Vacation
We have just returned from a fabulous vacation staying in this beautiful unit. The unit itself feels new and luxurious, with an absolutely gorgeous view. Everything was in working condition with maid service each day. The renter should be aware that there are stairs to the unit, and in my opinion it is helpful to rent a car for groceries, etc.. The property is huge, so you have to be prepared to walk a bit (through the Westin entrance) or rely on the shuttle. If you are not venturing away from the pool area for lunch, I would recommend eating at the outdoor buffet options (unless you want a very slow leisurely sit-down lunch). "Check in" was newly moved to the Concierge Office at the Beach Club.... The Owner provided a welcome packet with recommendations that were extremely helpful! We took a sailing cruise, ATVs, and a nature walk with a biologist.....all highlights! Her restaurant recommendations were also spot on! I would love to come back and would definitely recommend it to friends.
