What a wonderful experience in the Finger Lakes. The area of Canandaigua had everything we needed and the location of the Inn was perfect. Will definitely return.

Every inch of this place is beautiful. And smells heavenly. Excellent food at both rose garden & the sand bar. Adorable s’mores kits for the kids with fires. We loved it!

I loved my stay at the Lakehouse. Serenity is the word I would use to describe the property The staff was so nice and inviting. I also did the Sauna therapy at the spa. I have to tell you that I cannot wait to go back. It was the most relaxing experience of my life. I give the Lakehouse 5 Stars without a doubt.

Beautiful view. The room was fresh and crisp. Simplistic beauty. The there were several complimentary offerings, including champaign at check in, a smores kit, and nespresso coffee machines in the room. The heated pool and hot tub was amazingly... it was so relaxing to use, even outdoors in February.

Beautiful property and facilities, one of the nicest I've been too in NY. Peaceful, private spot on the lake. Great visit, just one night. Summer weekend would be ideal.

We stayed here after a cooking class at NY kitchen. Easy to walk to and from the class. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we loved the clean design of the hotel.

The location of the property is gorgeous! It is lakefront. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed with an all white color scheme. The mattress was very comfortable and the sheets were luxurious. They were unable to get us into our room until an hour and a half after the hotel's 3:00 regular check-in time. Our reservation was for a town king suite with a tub and a fireplace but we were given an ADA room with a shower and no fireplace. The shower did not have a curtain and the bathroom floor flooded a bit. We hope to give the hotel one more visit to see if things improve! All in all we had a lovely time at the Lake House in Canandaigua!

This place is absolutely magical. The amenities are superb, the restaurant is perfection, and the thoughtful touches throughout really make this place something special. I can’t wait to come back here! This place will definitely become a regular visit for us.

The staff at the Lake House truly go above and beyond. Ever person we interacted with was friendly, went out of their way to be accommodating and also seemed to enjoy their jobs at the hotel. Just all the little things made it feel like you were a guest in their home. Thank you to the Lake House for a great stay.

The property was overall nice, but i had some concerns when I saw human hair all over the shower wall in our suite. Also our couch had few stains and when asked to clean it they came to clean it. Cleanliness is very important for me so it disturbed me to see stains in the sofa and hair in the shower. In the shower the water flow was very strong and it would spill and also accumulate on the floor for a while. Beside that , i wish they had slippers available in the room. In room dining was not too great. We asked a plate a cheese and for 39$ it was very scarce. We did enjoy The Rose tavern for dining. The food was tasty and the service very nice.

Hidden gem hotel in hidden gem region
This one of the premium hotel experiences in New York State. Fantastic restaurants beautiful rooms, lakefront experience, great pool and gym. Country club like atmosphere high end Manhatten hotel experience (think Plaza or Lowell). Finger lakes are a hidden treasure and so is this hotel. Make this your FIRST choice for a Finger Lakes experience it certainly will be ours from now on.

This is a gorgeous hotel with excellent service. When we arrived to discover that the lock on the adjoining room door wasn’t working, we were immediately upgraded to another even better room (thank you for your quick and friendly response, Alantra). The hotel is beautifully designed, grounds are spectacular, the beds are heaven, the shower amazing. Restaurant and bar were great. It was relaxing and wonderful. My only criticism: the $30 extra charge at checkout, for features we were told were free (and never actually used by us). This parting surprise fee was really not necessary, and a bad way to end an otherwise lovely stay.
