"Hosts Jan and Peter were fab and made you feel at home straight away. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean with kettle, tea and coffee. The fridge was replenished every day with water, milk fruit juice and other breakfast items. Beechwood house is ideally positioned for bus and train into St Ives with some local restaurants locally. "Me and my partner stayed here 2 nights for her surprise birthday trip to St Ives and we loved it, finding the place was easy, as was parking. We checked in with a gentlemen whose name I unfortunately cannot recall but he was so friendly and welcoming, giving us plenty of advice for our stay which we appreciated. Our room was lovey and stocked with plenty of bits for breakfast including cereals, milk, Greek style yoghurts, fruit pots, and croissants as well as bottled water, tea, and coffee, all of which would be restocked and cost us no extra. Our room was cleaned and restocked while we were out. Now the highlight of our stay, I had booed a trip for my partners birthday but had not bought a cake, fortunately she didn’t have a problem with this but I wanted to get a hold of one, I asked the lovely lady running this B&B and she gave me plenty of ideas where to get a hold of one as well as allowing us to check out later which was also very kind. Once I had got my hands on a birthday cake the lovely lady had popped to the shops herself to get a card and gift bag full of sweet treats to say happy birthday which was so heartwarming and my partner was chuffed to bits. A very nice touch, thank you so much! "
