A delightfully nifty little hotel in a charming village. It's a bit odd with self check in, and no staff on site, but it's just that a bit odd. Remote/virtual staff, timely, communicated with us on check in and check out. They were easy to contact and communicate with, they were kind and attentive so it didn't matter at all. You could tell someone was around as supplies were refreshed (coffee/water). Lots of easy, close parking. The room was clean and charming. The room included a small fridge, microwave, pod coffeemaker (with pods). Towels smelled fresh and shower had good pressure. Let's talk about the bed! Not only was it a gorgeous 4 poster, but it may well be the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. It was crazy soft but somehow perfectly supportive - I'm a troubled sleeper, but I slept really, really well. The down duvet and assortment of pillows were also perfect. I'm not a big TV person, but with not a lot of nightlife in this glorious little village I enjoyed the nice new TV with the hotel's free Netflix and Prime. The comfy bed and loads of pillows let me prop up in bed like a princess in a 4 poster bed. I am now addicted to "Vikings". We loved our trip and truly enjoyed the Roxy Hotel - we'll be back!

The building is older and it shows. Our room was overall not very clean. The floor is vinyl and had not been mopped. The bathroom sink was cracked and there was dirt and staining in the bathroom walls. The bathroom outlets were severely discolored as if they’d overheated previously. There was dirt and debris in all corners of the room and bathroom. The building reeked of marijuana. We booked for two nights but only stayed one due to a family issue. If we had been in town another night, we would have changed hotels. Staff, on the other hand, was wonderful. Friendly, attentive, helpful. The front desk staff was constantly finding things to do to try to enhance guest stay, tidying up, etc. I wish I had gotten her name. She was wonderful.
