Jorge, the owner is a veteran of the tourism industry and is extremely knowledgeable about geography, history, pretty much everything Tico. The property has a few pools, a hiking trail, a water slide, horseback riding, zip lining, a jacuzzi, and more. Bring a yoga mat and a bathing suit."

"Eladios place was the perfect stay for me and my family. During our time we enjoyed time relaxing by the pool, and getting to know Eladio and his beautiful family. The hospitality they provided.....wow. I am forever grateful. Eladio provided many opportunities to explore. He is so passionate to share the beauty of his country and the wildlife. We spent many hours exploring the geography and the wildlife, never rushing- "tranquilo, tranquilo" with this, we were able to fully enjoy what costa rica has to offer. My favourite tour was the wildlife tour, but all were amazing. The house is tucked away about 15 minutes from Liberia. If you are looking for a quiet place, but in a central location to explore many of the national parks CR has to offer, this is a great spot. If you are looking for less of a tourist experience, and more of a local experience, and the bonus of meeting some wonderful people, I recommend spending time at Eladios place. Thank you Eladio, Vanessa and family, you all have pure hearts and we are so grateful you welcomed us so warmly to your home. "The people here were great and helped accommodate our late check-in. The property is a nice little get-away at the base of a volcano, has great views, and isn't too far from Liberia or other attractions. "

"The property was a very typical Costa Rican Lodge. Beautiful location along a very nice river, off the beaten track away from loud city noise. The convenience of offering rafting, tubing, zip lining rappelling, spa service etc all in one place is very nice. It is reasonably priced for activities and the restaurant is very good. A nice buffet breakfast is included. Nice swim up bar and pool are. Service was prompt. As I stated earlier, the lodge was typical and can use a little updating. It had old school louvered windows and half of them had broken handles to open and close them which made it difficult for the A/C to be of optimum performance. Our entrance door dragged a little on the floor about halfway open, but a little lifting and it opened fully. If would be nice to have a mini fridge in the rooms. Hot water worked well! Overall, I really liked the place though. Staff was very friendly and the grounds were very pretty. I will be back with the kids next time to enjoy the activities offered. "
