“The staff were genuinely excellent—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. They were kind to accommodate my request for a late checkout when I was running late. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease. Housekeeping clearly does a great job here, and everything felt fresh and comfortable throughout my stay. Location was good for me as I drove up there, there was enough parking spots. However, just for breakfast, there……

“We didn’t have hot water for the whole of our stay. We were told it would come back on after the first day and it did not. The next time they said it we wanted to shower we had to do it in another room, however they asked us to share this room key with other people which wasn’t what we thought when booking. The radiator also didn’t work for the whole duration for the stay and as it was a rainy day we struggled having no heating or hot water. Half way through getting ready to go out on the second……

“Die Buchung dieses Hotels war leider eine Fehlentscheidung. Wir kamen gegen 18:30 Uhr an. Noch an der Haustür kam eine junge Mitarbeiterin und brachte uns sofort zum Zimmer. Sie ging mit hinein, kam sofort zum Thema und wollte wissen wann wir zum Abendessen gehen und welches Menu wir haben möchten. Wir waren völlig überrumpelt. Sie sagte, wirklich müssten uns sofort entscheiden. Ich bat um 10 Min. Bedenkzeit. Sie wies uns dann auf die Frühstückszeit 8-9:00 h hin. Ein Unding solch eine kurze……

“Room was ok . Dull dark decor and v small television. Table light worked but wonky and carpet threadbare in some areas . Clean . Check in was not very welcoming , lady seemed rushed and no pleasantries . Asked for more milk which didn’t get . Meal in the evening was good . Sticky toffee sauce was more like weak caramel. Decided not to stay the night so returned home so can’t comment on breakfast. Staff serving meal v good . ”

“Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out.”
