Spread over four levels it incorporates an auditorium, eight conference rooms, four offices and a VIP lounge. The auditorium alone can accommodate some 2,200 participants for theater productions, banquets or cocktail receptions. In total, some 3,400 people can attend the events held at the center at any one time.
At the heart of the Congress Center is the Hall Harmonie, a multifunctional event hall. It has a movable floor, as well as access to the 215,000 square feet (20,000 square meters) of exhibition space in the neighboring Hall 5. The Messe Frankfurt’s Operation and Security Centre combines a control room, police station, fire station, first aid station and security service.
The center is at the heart of Frankfurt’s business event scene. Clients such as the World Bank Group and the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation have hosted their events here, with the latter attracting some 6,000 people over several days. The Congress Center Messe Frankfurt is centrally located, allowing for ease of access. It is 9 miles (15 kilometers) from Frankfurt International Airport and under a mile (1.3 kilometers) from Frankfurt Central Train Station. Arrive by car and you will find parking easy, with 5,400 parking spaces. The venue has a pool of service bicycles which they use to get around the facilities, and they keep a pool for the use of customers.
