The Strand has pedigree (See Raffles and E&O). It's a beautiful building with high ceilings. Beautifully decorated and clean. Very pleasant staff. Quiet and tranquil.

"This is my first stay at Excelsior. I have a fondness for Myanmar heritage hotels. The welcome was seamless and friendly. The room is very clean. I like the firm pillow and comfortable bed.
