"The location is very rural and quiet. The hotel rooms are fine however the bathrooms are dated. Our room and our friends room had hairs all over the bathroom floor and in the bath so it was not clean enough. We had booked the restaurant for dinner and it was not busy when we arrived. However it took about 1h 30 for our food to arrive. We ended up cancelling our starters because it all took so long. "Excellent property in every way. The apartment is attractive inside and the views are incomparable and can be seen through nearly every window. The sofas and beds are comfortable, and everything is provided for cooking proper meals. My trusty stir-dry pan and sharp knives remained unused! There is every detail that we could want: hooks for all towels, dressing gowns and coats were particularly appreciated! The pool has fantastic views, is very clean, warm enough and has hot showers and clean toilets. Deckchairs and balcony furniture were also provided. The location is very accessible and close to a lovely town, Saint Gervais, and a great lake for bathing, as well as table tennis, two great high ropes courses, tennis, 2 mini golf courses nearby and wonderful mountain walks from our door. Chamonix was a very easy drive for the cable cars and Mer du Glace and Lake Annecy was a stunning drive away."

"This was a lovrly family hotel a short walk from the town of Saint Gervais les Bains and the ski area.
The owners were friendly and helpful anc the breakfast perfect for setting you up for a day on the slopes

"Overall my 11 year old son and I had a good week in the SOWELL HOTELS Mont Blanc & Spa. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent with well-prepared food and plenty of choice. The room was comfortable and the staff very helpful. The main down-side is how worn and dated the room and all of the communal areas are. I'm not sure when it received it's 4* rating, but the property feels quite aged with bathroom furniture, doors and walls all very worn with visible damage."
