“Loved the Robins Nest. Lovely inside and out. The porch was relaxing, Bed (we only slept in the downstairs one) was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable. We were there to go to Mammoth Cave, and it was about 30 minutes away, so convenient and yet not overrun with other tourists. The neighborhood was peaceful. There are not a lot of food options or even grocery stores nearby, so plan ahead with that. Otherwise, we'd gladly book this again.”

“Our stay at swift water was perfect! The cabin is clean and tucked back in the trees alongside the water and provided an excellent getaway for our days at the lake. The property owners were very responsive and friendly and I would recommend a stay at swiftwater anytime!”

“The house is private but you can see rooftops through the trees. The lake is close and there is a down ward hill to get to the water, not too steep and doable with bad knees. One really cool part of the house is there are multiple places you can escape to for alone time or having a listen to the sounds of nature on the patio, etc. the kitchen had an impressive selection of cookware and dishes. “This house is absolutely beautiful. I felt like we were on the set of Yellowstone. Every detail was interesting and authentic. Darrell had a fire going for us when we arrived and the home was warm and inviting. He also gifted us some fresh farm eggs and sausage which were so delicious! We loved drinking our morning coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch while we watched the horses grazing. If you like stargazing, you'll love this property at night. “A great place to stay for the weekend. We loved feeding the animals next to the cabin and kayaking. We loved the dogs visiting (Lola, Charlie, and Bo). Everything you could need to cook was available. We made use of the fire pit in the back and made our dinner over it using the grill.”

“My husband and I planned a stay with our girls and both our dads to make some memories. We found this amazing cabin and booked right away. It was even nicer in person than described. Only about 30 minutes from mammoth cave. They had plenty to do in the cabin when it rained and we all got to enjoy the hot tub post our hikes. We enjoyed competing on the shuffleboard table as well! If you are staying in the area, choose this house, you will not be disappointed.”

“The cabin was spotless, with everything we needed. I was even able to catch up on all our laundry before heading home. Our pup loved the lake and running at sunrise with me around the property. The kids loved the loft and want to come back to enjoy the lake when it’s warmer.”
