Buffalo City Cabin

Cabin located one block from the Mississippi River and public boat landing. One bedroom plus pullout couch, sleeps up to four. Cabin is located within a block of the river and public boat landing; full service gas station that sells groceries, liquor, bait and much more; and a bar/restaurant on the river. One bedroom/one bathroom (both upstairs). Fully furnished and stocked with all the amenities you need for a relaxing get away. Bedding and towels provided. Ample parking room for boats, etc. Garage available for guest use. Outdoor patio table/chairs, gas grill and fire ring for campfires on nice sized lot in a residential area. Plenty of room for the kids to run and play outside.

July 4th Weekend
A quaint older home. Much character. Well stocked. Good location. Garage was a bonus. We were able to park our Jeep & Motorcycle inside during the storms that came through the area. Would stay here again.

Fantastic stay
This was a perfect spot for Winona State Family weekend. My husband and I stayed with two young adults and it was a perfect resting spot. The owner’s communication was excellent and the hospitality gestures left in advance of our stay made this property one of our best experiences on VRBO. Quaint place to stay
This is a cute home, not big but perfect for two people. It is in a very good location to food and drinks. We had a great time exploring the town and eating at the local joints. So if you are looking for a quiet get away, in a very clean and safe town, look no further. We for sure will be back next year for another stay. Southern Wisconsin, driftless zone is always a beautiful place to explore.

Home away from Home!
The most relaxing two and a half days of my life! I don't know where to start to naming. All the wonderful parts of this day. The cabin was cozy and welcoming and all the little touches to make you feel welcome, The owners went above and beyond in my book! We are hoping this can be a yearly get away for us. Everything was within a 1 minute to 5 minute walk. Breathtaking views of the Mississippi, convenience store for all of our grocery needs. No need to have brought the cooler as if we were camping, lost pirate tiki bar and grill was a great way to start the weekend! Took a drive into Alma and had an equally wonderful time coming back to the cabin. Felt like coming home, making ourselves dinner, kicking back and relaxing! Weather looked as if it was going to be rainy and it was the perfect cabin to be at if that was the case but the weather was perfect all weekend. The best part was coming home totally relaxed! The communication with the owners was always friendly and prompt and even though we didn't meet them, feel like it was a friend offering us their place for the weekend. Do you have the opportunity to I highly recommend this cute little cabin!!!

We enjoyed this cozy, very well-equipped cottage while exploring nearby towns and hiking trails. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood and a short distance to the river, which offers amazing views of sunsets. The owner’s communication and responsiveness to questions was exceptional.

This property was just as advertised. It was very clean and a nice location. We enjoyed non fires each night in the back yard. Bonus was it was closer to river than we thought, and had a convenience store and bar within walking distance.

The small house was nicely done and a very comfortable space for 2 adults and a couple of children. Located by many small towns with shops, restaurants, breweries and wineries. It was a perfect location for my husband and I as we were navigating the Great River Road Wine Trail.

We had a great time at this cabin. The neighborhood was small and peaceful, the cabin was clean and had some great small touches. Check in was a breeze and the owner was very communicative and helpful with area attractions prior to our stay, without being over involved during our time there - which is a great plus for us!! We had no reason to reach out during our stay because everything was very straight forward, but contact information was provided in multiple locations so we could have easily reached them if needed. The cabin is cute, with minimal decorations/furniture, which made this a perfect place to stay with our toddler!! The TV stand was full of books, games and Lego sets, which we very much enjoyed during the rainy parts of our stay. The owners left a nice little goodies basket for our stay. This was a great touch and stopped us from having to make an evening run to the near by convenience store for a late snack. I would definitely recommend this cabin to any small family or individual! Thank you for providing a great getaway, we hope to return!

Wonderful Stay!
Perfect stay at this amazing location. Was here for two days to get some work done and recharge my batteries. Accomplished both. House was spotless, solid, and very quiet. Very sturdy and cozy. Loved the layout - especially the breakfast seating and the upstairs bathroom. Bedroom was made for a peaceful night's sleep with a comfy bed and great setup. I felt very much at home. Short walk to the river for a beautiful evening stroll. Excellent communication through the booking and reservation process. Super hosts! Hope to stay again sometime if you'll have me back.
