"I had a multi-night stay in Del Rio, and I decided to try the Whispering Palms because it had good reviews. It met my needs. The only negative was that the air conditioner was pretty good, but not great. I like it really cold when I sleep, and it didn't quite get there. But I realize I like it colder than most people, and it was comfortable enough, so this was at least as much about my personal preferences as the condition of the A/C. The staff was very friendly, and the owners were, too! Bob...

"This place is gorgeous, spotlessly clean, with a clear and clean design, and an abundance of amenities, including fancy new appliances (dryer in washer all combined!). It was a joy to return after a day outdoors at Seminole Canyon. Communication with the host was easy and immediate. We had a wonderful time."

"It was perfect for the four of us in my family. The location is very nice on the Amistad national recreation area and the condo is very clean with most amenities. The cooking supplies are a little low, but we were able to get by. Sunsets on the patio are amazing! If we are in the area again, I would definitely return."
