Traditional Hotel in the heart of the city
This hotel is located in the most central area of the city of Cordoba. Ideal location to walk to all the main touristic attractions. It is a very old hotel that has been modernised on the inside, but it doesn't have a lift, only a long stairwell, so if you are carrying a lot of suitcases its a bit tricky to get to reception. We found the staff very helpful and friendly and they provide vouchers to have breakfast in a really nice traditional Argentinian cafe only 100 meters away from the hotel. Our room was clean and with aircon. Very comfortable. A really nice experience and confort for such low price. We recommend it.

Central location and superb staff
After reading the reviews by other readers, I booked in a stay at the Garden Hotel as a treat for my mother. I could not have made a better decision. She simply loved the facilities, the location, and the friendly staff. Breakfast or 'desayuno' was fantastic and got her ready for a big day getting around around the main sites of Cordoba. She gave me raving reviews of the hotel and would definitely stay there again.

So far in Argentina we have struggled to find English speakers and people are often rude. This experience was the exact opposite. The staff were all absolutely lovely and they all spoke amazing English and we're very enthusiastic about helping us out. We got upgraded for free because of overbooking, and the rooms was fantastic. Definitely worth it to stay here.

Great hotel perfect location
We stayed at a hotel close to the airport for the night. Arivved ar the garden hotel in the heart of the city the next day. The place is amazing, staff is great and rooms are way better then the more expensive hotel we paid 5x's as much. You can walk to all the sites. It is a good guiet place to stay

In my 26 days traveling across Argentina, the Garden Hotel was by far the best for the price! Great internet IN THE ROOM as advertised. Located in the maybe 1.5 blocks from Plaza San Martin. Perfect location to explore from the center. Room very modern, nice size, again GREAT internet! Normal hot and cold water that did not constantly change temp while showering. Cordoba was not my favorite place since most museums were closed or changing the times open (on the day of) but I have no regrets with my choice of hotel.

Not good, but not the worst.
There was a problem with the reservation and I ended up having to pay twice for a room. Breakfast consisted of crackers and jam. My advice, find another hotel.

Garden Hotel is OK
Hotel is in the centre of a large pedestrian - only part of the city; so if you have a lot of luggage then going from taxi to hotel could be a struggle. Reception is on the second floor

Good service and friendly staff. Rooms are definitely not high quality buy not horrible either. Everything was mediocre. I would go back for another stay because I'm not picky about hotels and the staff treats you well.

Pleasantly surprised
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Was only in cordoba for one night and needed a hotel on a budget to explore the city. Despite the first impressions, the rooms are quite spacious and clean. Location was odd on a main shopping street in the middle of town but actually worked out really well as a base to explore cordobas main attractions. Overall great experience for the price.

Our room looked recently renovated and was spacious and nice. Other befrooms looked yet to be updated. The shared areas are in the middle of renovation and looked drab and desperately in need of attention. Helpful staff and a nice breakfast included just round the corner at a cafe.

OK for the money
The wifi was not good in the rooms. The rooms were just OK. There were steep stairs to the hotel. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was at a bar around the corner where you were only allowed one small cup of coffee and some cold toast and corissants, served by a sour faced waitress who would have given Basil Fawlty a run for his money. We gave up and went somewhere else for breakfast.

Excellent location
We went to Cordoba to visit our daughter who is attending the University of Cordoba. The Garden Hotel is located in the heart of the city in the middle of the pedestrain plaza. It was very convienent for us and near the university as well. I must admit that if my daughter had not known the hotel's exact location, having checked it out before we arrived, it would have been very difficult to find because the entrance is not clearly marked. My daughter was on spring break so she stayed with us in a triple room. The room was comfortable for all three of us. The hotel is old as expected for the historic location but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was outstanding., professional and very helpful. The open courtyard area and upstairs common area were great places to sit, talk and relax and for my daughter to check her facebook page on her laptop. I will most certainly return to the Garden Hotel if I am back in Cordoba, if not for the excellent location, then for the professionalism and kindness of the staff. The price was great too. We couldn't believe that all three of us stayed in the heart of Cordoba for that cheap !!!!

Clean and pleasant hotel in center of historic city center and a good value for the $, but not ideal if you plan to spend much time in the room. King size bed, large screen TV, small clean bathroom, small table with one folding chair. Overlooks pedestrian mall. Very adequate as a bed room, but not very comfortable for spending the afternoon.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean. Unfortunately window into the hallway but wasn't a big problem as we stayed only for one night and it wasn't noisy. Currently the hotel is being refurbished. Location is really central which is good for seeing the sights nearby. Breakfast is not directly served in the hotel but guests receive a voucher for a confiteria nearby. The hotel looks after the luggage on the day of the check-out if needed. Can recommend the Garden Hotel as price and value you get match.

This hotel is basic but well maintaines and undergoing remodeling. Centraliy located and close to Cordoba main atractions. The people at reception were nice and always helpfull. Staff speaks English. Don't have cafeteria but they give breackfast vouchers for a nearby restaurant. I enjoyed my stay and I was satisfied with service provided. .
