Lovely apartment in the woods
We really enjoyed our stay. Terry made everything so easy. The studio apartment felt large, was clean, great surroundings, it was wonderful. The only reason for our 4-Star rating is that we also needed to do some work during our stay and the internet was very spotty, which required us to adjust our plans a bit. So if you're unplugging, this is a fabulous home to do so.

Great little apartment/Quite neighborhood
We enjoyed our stay here very much. It's a comfortable little apartment with all the amenities. Terry, our host was very nice and communicative. He sent us a text the day before our arrival with all our check-in information and left the lights on for us since we were arriving late. The next day we met Terry out on the patio, talked, and shared our love for the outdoors. The property is about 6 miles away from downtown Corvallis, which was not a problem for us. It is close to the Peavy Arboretum and many beautiful hiking trails. The property has a peaceful patio area where you can sit and have your morning coffee while watching the wildlife. I would reach out to Terry again should we return to Corvallis. Terry, thank you for hosting us, and hope your trip was bountiful.

Perfect and amazing place!
This was my first solo trip and first time in the Pacific Northwest. The location, atmosphere, and administrative ease of this property was exactly what was needed. Centrally located to explore the varied beauty of Oregon within a short drive, secluded and felt like you were out of a city with morning coffee to watch deer and foxes frolic, but only a few minutes drive to food and essentials. Absolutely perfect. And I will say that while i was by myself, my two kids have asked me to take them, and there will be plenty of space for all three of us to return! Terry was amazing and great communication and very accommodating! One of the best VRBO hosts that I've ever had!

Great stay
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Perfect for our short trip to Corvallis to visit our son. One quirk to the property is the door to the studio is half window and there is no shade or curtain covering it. Would be fine if it weren’t a studio and the bed right in front of the door. It’s on the second floor and location is pretty secluded but even so, would be nice to have the option to have some privacy when sleeping or changing clothes.

Lovely quiet retreat
I was impressed with how nice everything was. It was so quiet and the surrounding area was beautiful. I found everything that I needed for cooking in the kitchen, the apartment was spacious, the furnishings and amenities were good quality. The owners were friendly and great with communications. I will happily stay here again.

This was one of the best stays- the description is accurate, and the place was absolutely spotless. The hosts were attentive and available if needed. The environment was beautiful and quiet. If you’re looking for a restful place near Corvallis - this is the place for you!

Such a great property! This quaint studio feels like a secluded, tranquil country retreat, but it's only minutes from local amenities. The owners are wonderful and accommodating. We came to Corvallis to watch our daughter play softball at OSU, and this place was perfect! We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Clean and comfy
Although I stayed for 4 nights, I really only slept there. But the time I spent there was comfortable and quiet. Neighborhood is quiet and a way from town but close enough to essentials. Someone had revised about the stairs being sketchy. They look super wonky but they are sturdy. I’m 6’ 4’ 240 and they held me just fine. I will suggest maybe grip tape on the steps, there was one icy night and I almost slipped going down the stairs. Just remember, it’s a Fonzie apartment above the garage so you do hear the garage opening/closing. Will rent again.

beautiful Corvallis countryside
This was a really nice spot to stay in! It's removed from the town and feels like the countryside, with beautiful surround and hiking nearby. The owner was very receptive and informative, which helped me feel welcome and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, not too soft. The studio had everything I needed, and the bathroom heater was just plain wonderful :-) I read some comments about the stairs being difficult to navigate, and I didn't find that to be the case. It was raining pretty heavily, and the steps are slip-resistant.

Very quiet and the interior of the space is superb. Fairly close to Corvallis, but maybe more of a getaway space, than convenient to things. The price was good. The stairs feel super unsafe. Didn’t have both of us on them at a time. The shared driveway is very rutted at the bottom and needs some grading or something. We weren’t on a getaway, but highly recommend for that.

Summer visit to Oregon
We had a great stay at this property. Everything was as expected from the VRBO profile and we loved this area of Oregon. This location provided us the ability to make short day trips to the coast, to Eugene, and for hiking at Silver Falls.

Peaceful Cottage
My daughter is a Freshman at OSU. We needed some quality time together before I move out of state. We had the most relaxing weekend at the Rock Quarry studio, or as we called it- The Peaceful Cottage. The studio is tidy and spacious. There's everything you need to cook a homemade meal (which my daughter was very happy about). The bed was so comfortable. We slept great. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. I would love to stay here again in the future.

Perfect Fit
I hesitate to use the word perfect, but it was for me. It was the solitude and quiet I was looking for. The room had everything I wanted/needed and more. Every time I needed something, I looked, and it was there. Very comfortable and nice touches with the Christmas decorations. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Great stay!
Really enjoyed our stay and visiting with our hosts! A little north of Corvallis in a more rural area with trees but easy access to highway. Very nicely furnished and decorated with AC if needed. No kitchen stove but we cooked using one of the large hot plates and the host's grill. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Beautiful views, chirping birds and squirrels ar play. The apartment was comfortable with laundry machines and a dishwasher. Bring trash bags and toilet paper if staying longer than 2 nights. Upstairs unit. The owners are present on the property and are willing to share the patio and bbq etc. I rode my bike to town on the country roads

A REAL gem!!
I’ve had multiple travel experiences with VRBO and other similar online booking companies. Many of the listings did not turn out to be anywhere near all the positives the owners portrayed the property/stay to be in significant ways. This lovely oasis just outside of downtown Corvallis IS as listed, and better. The owners are wonderful hosts and people, and made our short visit really special. Don’t even hesitate if you’re considering this for your stay - you will not be disappointed!!! (well, unless you’re impossible to please on every level 😂).

Well equipped, peaceful studio
The studio is spacious and very well equipped with everything you could need. It is larger than it appears in the pictures. The property is a very quiet and peaceful getaway in the trees. I would stay there again!

OSU Family Weekend
My husband and I stayed here for the family weekend. Location was convenient to OSU and very quiet and peaceful. Bed was very comfortable and the cottage was clean and well appointed.

Quiet and Comfortable
The property is beautiful and our host's (including Daisy) are really sweet. Better than staying in a noisy busy hotel for sure! And we had complimentary popcorn to enjoy with Stuart Little :)
