We had a wonderful stay at the Shooting Lodge. The lodge was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful setting, beautiful views, and wildlife made it the perfect place to relax.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Nothing was too much trouble.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Shooting Lodge”

“The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive.”

“Good points
Shower , toilet , barbeque all very good , Hot tub BRILLIANT when in it .
Tent ample room to move around and side windows let in enough light during daytime .
Cooler box was very good kept the ice frozen all the time we were there and not electric (Yeti) thats the make of it .
Amazing views from the site and peaceful .
Bad points
Steps for the hot tub not stable need attatching to the side .
No direction signs to the place and no phone or internet signal so no sat nav and not……

“A fabulous property ideal for a small group. Lynn the owner was very welcoming and the welcome pack was exceptionally good especially the chocolate brownie. The property is remote but is ideally located for Leek and Buxton. Wonderful views.”

“The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. The kitchen was clean and had everything you needed. I would add some baking trays and oven gloves but apart from that it was great!
The bedroom was clean and tidy. The windows had all been opened beforehand to air out the house. Towels were provided for each person which was handy as my girls forgot theirs. The beds were quite hard but……
