“What a cute cabin nestled in the East Texas woods. You have complete privacy and it is so quiet you can hear the birds and the crickets. We loved the decoration amd set up of the cabin. Plenty of room for 2 people and your pups. We could hear the creek on the property and it just added to the ambiance. We were very happy with everything!!”

“We were so glad we stayed at this cabin! There is no control over the weather and rain, and the recent rains the area had, had the water level so high that we could not use the pier and the beautiful views from it. But with even with the rains, we spent hours on the covered porch with the fabulous view from there. It inside of the cabin was well stocked with most any utensil, appliances, tv, dining and plenty of comfortable seats. It was gorgeous inside and a real pleasure to stay there.”

“Property was exceptionally clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful setting so much. Short distance to a great steakhouse and a seafood restaurant as well. We never received any information regarding the property manager but a neighbor gave us information regarding the owner who was very pleasant and helpful regarding access. Water quality needs attention. Would recommend for quiet getaway”

“There is some vagueness in the property listing about the size and usage of the property. The property manager greeted me upon arrival and was friendly and helpful. He advised us that the lower and larger pond is a private waters club lake and was off limits. We had full access to one large pond and a smaller pond each of which containing all you can catch 1/4-2lb bass. We checked in at 4pm on a friday with great weather caught atleast 30 bass in two hours time. On saturday it rained allday, but...

“This house is located on the Ellison Creek Reservoir (aka Lone Star Lake). It’s a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 full bath home. The kitchen is fully stocked and it has a stackable washer and dryer. The kitchen had plenty of items to help with cooking including spices, tin foil, and ziplock bags. The deck is a true gem. We sat out there and had our coffee every morning. “My husband I stayed four nights in May 2024. The property is really nice. The deck has great views of the sunrise and the hammock swing is so relaxing to sit in and read a book. The house is clean, comfortable and has everything you need and more. There are kayaks, a paddle board, indoor and outdoor games. One afternoon it was raining so we played monopoly which was fun! I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family and I hope to return again someday.”
