"Had a wonderful time getting together with 3 out-of-state friends/couples. House was very spacious and everyone had their own personal space. The host is very accommodating and a couple of requests. Have stayed at a different property with the same host and received the same wonderful hospitality. Would stay again."

"We stayed here for a birthday & Mother’s Day weekend, and this home was wonderful for our group of five women. The house is beautifully decorated, but still feels warm, comfortable, and lived-in, in the best way. It never felt overly fancy or like you were afraid to touch anything. It was just peaceful, inviting, and easy to settle into immediately. The 3-bedroom, 2-bath layout was perfect for us, with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The bunk room was especially nice because the bunk beds are full-sized and very comfortable, not like typical camp-style bunks. The mattresses were great, and everything was clean and well-kept.The kitchen was one of the highlights for us. It was stocked with everything you would need to cook meals comfortably. It really felt thoughtfully prepared for guests. I especially loved waking up to the lake and birds singing. The view and outdoor atmosphere was incredible. The grounds were perfectly maintained, and we loved being able to walk barefoot in the grass. It was great that although the property has a peaceful country feel, restaurants and stores were still just minutes away. The only small thing I would suggest is possibly adding a Keurig. The standard coffee maker worked, but not cleaned properly. So instant coffee it was. That said, it was a very minor issue. Overall, this home was beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, and exactly what we needed! We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again."

"This place is everything we imagined and more. My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. We wanted a quiet weekend away from the city and kids. I was looking for a place to fish, watch birds and enjoy the peace. Without a doubt, this cottage checked every box. We arrived to the most pleasant and sweet host dropping off fresh eggs from the chicken coop in the front yard, homemade jelly, and some biscuits. The only photos don’t even do this place justice. the flower bed out front is gorgeous, the house feels and looks like I just got to my grandmas house for the weekend. The tall trees, peaceful water and welcoming wild life was everything we imagined. The beds were amazing, the house was stocked with everything we needed. We caught SO many fish. I caught a large catfish, biggest catch of the weekend which I will continue to rub in my husbands face. The bass were biting like crazy and my husband loved every second. We enjoyed early canoe rides and I even went out myself in the evening just to enjoy the smooth water and peace. Have your cameras ready for the amazing birds. Cardinals are surrounding you here and I was lucky enough to wake up to a humming bird sipping flowers in the morning. I just cannot put into words how amazing our weekend was here. If you are considering the future place, just do yourself a favor and book it. We are already booking our next stay for a couple of months away and plan to bring our 3 little girls so that they can catch some perch."
