Nice Hotel!
We came to the Residence in because we had gone to another hotel in Davenport that was awful. Residence Inn was nice, clean, and had good service. The staff was great, as was the breakfast. I only gave it four stars on condition because they're in the middle of a remodel. I highly recommend!

This is reaching its life span and needs upgrades. The entrance driveway is.terrible! The entrances are trip hazards. And the big surprise was no local or network TV. Breakfast was marginal at best although they did apologize for the burned food

Hotel needs to be updated - dents, scratches, old décor. Would like to say thank you to Sasha at the front desk! She helped with relocating my room - I was next to two loud neighbors originally.

Everyone was so personable, helpful and nice from the front desk to the service people. Liked the breakfast menu. I thought the courtyard could use a little more light since I like to sit out there and do my crossword puzzles

Arrived at the hotel to find they had overbooked and didnt have a room for me. No call. No email. Nothing. They then took the liberty of booking another hotel room with the card I had on file. It was at another hotel on the other side of town, 30 minutes away, with only one bed. I had reserved a suite for 4 travellers! I told them I didnt want the room and could they please remove the reservation. They told me I could do it and handed me a number to call. Great. Thanks for an even bigger inconvenience.

I reserved a 2 bedroom suite and the air conditioning was broken so they gave us 2 separate rooms. When we got to those rooms the air conditioning was broken in one of those rooms, so we had to change rooms again. We had no shampoo in the room and while looking for the shampoo we came across a bunch of used tissues in one of the drawers. The only saving grace was the nice front desk person.

The keycards were constantly not working properly, the elevator door never worked properly, there were ants in the breakfast cereal, and some of the exit doors did not function properly.

I’ve booked through Expedia many times, have never had a problem. We reserved 5 rooms over a month ago. It was very unprofessional, we didn’t receive an email or phone call letting us our reservations had been canceled due to overselling. When we got to the property we were informed our reservations were canceled, according to the employee he had canceled them 40 minutes before we arrived . Luckily we were able to find a different hotel last minute. Given it was midnight, you’d think they’d have enough time to inform us about the cancellation given check in was at 3. They had more then enough time to realize they had oversold for the night.

Nice hotel
It was a nice experience but were disappointed by a few things. First, the "bedroom" is seperated by doors that have a large gap, offering no privacy. Secondly, we were not informed the pool would be closed for maintainence, and ended up with disappointed children because of such. Otherwise nice facility with a good location.

The stay and the room was fine. You need to update the map location. It is shown as being off Utica Ridge Rd. on 55th St when it's actually on 55th st off N Brady St. I waisted of 30 minutes finding the hotel until I finally called and was told it's a different zip code. I was not happy since it was 9:00pm!!

I was traveling to Nebraska and had a car loaded with personal items. The clerk understood the concern for theft and allowed me to park my vehicle in the front. She noted that they would keep watch. I appreciate the extra care and concern.

Excellent property - recommended
I put a lot of trust in the Marriott name and this Residence Inn met expectations. Clean, well-lit property in a quiet, convenient spot just off a couple major highways. Good amenities (the full-size fridge was particularly handy on this trip), good service and security. They've had to scale down some elements of their meals due to the pandemic, but they've clearly given much thought to continuing to provide many breakfast options and mitigating arrangements, like placing toasters in the room.

Very close to the mall, easy to get to. Many cosmetic things need to be fixed. Bed ruff ripped, cabinet doors at bathroom sink in poor condition, shower stall tiles cracked, wall by desk chair needs painting. I would expect better from a Marriott hotel. Stay at their resorts and a much better standard for the resorts!
