“The river view was nice. The bed was comfy. We had been on the road over 12 hours, so it was late when we got to the hotel. The staff was friendly. We felt extra safe with a local police officer just chatting with the frint desk staff when we arrived.”

“This was a lovely hotel, very close to the Skywalk, which is an amazing walking network, connecting much of the downtown area - safe, secure, and climate controlled. I was in a tournament at the Iowa Events Center and it was an easy 15 minute walk - no car, no hassle! The staff were friendly and helpful. Des Moines has a lot of construction going on.”

“Truly a unique property worth experiencing. Plusses: architecture, room size, great bathrooms, spacious gym, staff was incredibly helpful and friendly Minuses: Breakfast was OK; a little better than a Hampton Inn. And the TV’s need to be upgraded to streaming-capable. ”
