"The rooms get poor WiFi service, the WiFi is free and strong everywhere else. Breakfast is good, option for eggs made to order, fruit, breads, rice and beans. Beach club food was ok, nothing great. The pool is clean and lovely, and you came beat the ocean view from the front. Walking to and from the main road was safe at night. The paths in the hotel could be better lit at night. "

"The set up of the facility is cool, the rooms are detached bungalows with an outdoor kitchenette. The grounds are beautiful. The 2 pools are very small. The staff was nice, but did not speak any English, just Spanish (FYI). We did not eat at the restaurant, instead choosing to go to Puerto Viejo, just because we liked the town. "Awesome location for a first time stay in Puerto Viejo. Hotel had what one needed to be comfortable with a little luxury in a hot and muggy climate. The daily included breakfast was very good and presented well. Staff was professional and attentive; especially Marisol at the front desk. "
