"Almost a fairytale place with wonderful surroundings trails and Tauber river runs along with the hotel. Walk up a stairway easily to get into the town Rothenburg. A free sauna and swimming facilities in walking distance, it was a wonderful package we could not let it pass by without giving it a try! We love everything about this hotel, it will be a place to stay any time we come to this part of Germany! "

"Large room, clean with yummy gummy candys on our pillows. Bottles of sparkling water and tea and coffee. Very friendly staffand great loction to old town literally just outside the city walls with beautiful views out our large windows. Free parking and absolutely amazing breakfast free with stay. We will be back!"

"Tolles moderneres Hotel mit sehr sauberen Zimmern und bequemen Betten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir fühlten uns tatsächlich willkommen. Außerdem sehr kinderfreundlich. Es liegt fussläufig zur Altstadt. Wir haben das Hotel zufällig entdeckt und waren sehr begeistert. Sollte es uns erneut in die Gegend verschlagen, würden wir es erneut buchen "

"What a FANTASTIC alternative to staying inside the walls! Literally a 500 meter (8 mins) walk to the Rödertor Gate entrance of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Wonder staff, very clean, spacious rooms, and off-street parking included. The included breakfast offering is fantastic! We even witnessed the staff prepare a special breakfast table setting for someone celebrating a birthday! With pleasure I recommend Hotel Merian Rothenburg!"
