We always have an amazing time at the Tropicana! The food options, beach, casino, and rooms were all great! We stayed in the South Tower which was a good location but also produced some challenges because the indoor pool is in that tower and people were waiting at the elevators for up to 25 minutes. Additionally, when we arrived at the Tropicana two of the four elevators were closed which presented more logistical challenges. To avoid the long delays we decided to take the garage stairs to get to the beach. At the bottom of the very scary staircase someone was living under the stairs and shook the staircase for us to stop coming down them. It was terrifying. I reported it to security and they were already aware of the issue. If that’s the case, signage should have been posted to avoid the stairs. It was a very unsafe situation. If you stay at the Tropicana, be prepared for logistical challenges and stay safe!
