The Captain's Suite is one of four guests apartments in the Main Street Station, designed to complement beloved historic structures of Eastsound. This is our premium unit, one bedroom with a queen bed, pull-out sofa, fully equipped compact kitchen, barbeque, porch just steps from the water, and nearby stairs to the gorgeous rocky beach. 500 square feet architecturally crafted with attention to every detail, and all new furnishings in coastal, organic style we call 'beachy elegance.' The rooms highlight natural textures and products from local artisans. This unit is on the main floor for easy access, and includes a washer and dryer for your personal use. In Eastsound Village you will find all you need -- the farmer's market, bookstore, kayak rentals, bicycles, grocery, natural foods, boutiques, gift shops, and more. In fact, you don't even have to bring a car! Skip the ferry lines and pack light, take a shuttle or taxi to Eastsound, and the rest of your trip is easy. Feel free to ask us for any other special details you may desire for your get-away. Simply the perfect spot for your Orcas Island adventure! Great location and amazing view!

The Captains suite is centrally located, the view is outstanding. It has all the things you need for an amazing stay in Eastsound.

We had a wonderful stay in the Captain's Suite! What a special little spot. The hosts have included everything needed for a lovely get away, I wish we'd stayed more than one night. We enjoyed a nice glass of wine on the lovely patio with beautiful views of the water. Do not miss out on the bakery across the street - it is outstanding. The description does not mention that the bathroom does have a larger than normal tub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of adventures.

Charming Condo With Beautiful View

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “Captain’s Suite”! We loved the location and water views, so easy to explore lovely Eastsound and it’s wonderful shops and restaurants. The owners supplied every necessary amenity, the condo was spotless and super comfy! Would highly recommend!

Beautiful and clean with peaceful view.

Clean and fully stocked with all you need. Close in town with parking. Beautiful waterfront one bedroom rental. Wish that we had had more time to enjoy it.

We enjoyed how close the property was to everything. We ended up walking most of the weekend. Only negative was that the upstairs was fairly loud so we could hear people walking above us during the night. Besides that no issues.

I booked this place for my parents and I, and they loved it. The views were amazing, and the location could not be beat. Only downside was the sleeping situation. The pull out bed had a very thin mattress that sagged in the middle. The queen bed wasn't much better and was also well worn.

What a wonderful stay in the Captain’s Suite. The location was second to none, the view of the water from the house was phenomenal, and each and every aspect of the house was perfect! We’ll be back!

Perfect retreat

This is a wonderful place to stay in every way. Located near Darvill’s bookstore, Brown Bear Bakery and easy walking to the park, shops, restaurants. The room has a beautiful intimate terrace with a lovely water view. There are steps down to the beach. Great kitchen and bath. Stay here for a lovely trip. Enjoy!

Eastsound get-away

We loved being in the heart of Eastsound. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The patio view was beautiful and we had everything we needed at this property. Perfect little get-away.

We had a lovely week on Orcas Island. Place was great and had everything we needed. Walkable to area restaurants and shops. Loved being able to look out over the water and sit outside. Having lwasher/dryer was very helpful. The only negative was the sleeper sofa mattress was very thin and you could feel the springs

Plenty of room, & the view is amazing!

We had a fantastic weekend in this space. The building is right next to the stairs that take you to the beach when the tide is out. We spent a lot of time in the big Adirondack chairs on the patio. Conveniently, the fencing around the patio was secure enough that our little 8-lb dog could not escape. The bathroom was surprisingly large, & as a person who runs cold often, I appreciated the wall heater, so I didn’t shiver in the shower. The bathtub was deep enough that I ran next door to the botanicals shop & got a bath bombThe one bummer about this space was the ant invasion we had to contend with all weekend. Not out of the ordinary for the PNW, but it made it pretty impossible to roll out my mat to do some movement without ants crawling onto my mat. We found a broom to sweep the ants up, but could not find a dust pan, so I just swept them out the front door as best I could.Other than the constant ants, this place was stellar!

The condo is perfectly located. The bathroom was fantastic. The landlady was responsive.

It was difficult to cook more than lunch or dinner in the compact kitchen, which was not mentioned in previous reviews. Since the restaurants in Eastsound are so fantastic, it didn't really matter.

Charming Little Retreat in the Center of Eastsound

Three of us shared this well-equipped and thoughtfully designed mini-suite right in the heart of town. It was so convenient to be able to stop back in to put away purchases or grab a coat. We even walked to the grocery to get our food. Plus, the view was GORGEOUS. Even though it was a cool November day, we sat out and watched the water lapping against the shore. We even saw an eagle. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was fine and the bathroom was large and luxurious. We highly recommend.
