Lovely lodge close to Crystal Mtn.

Perfect ski weekend spot for our group of five. About 25 min drive from the ski resort, hot tub and all the amenities, surrounded by nature. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Location

My family had a fantastic stay at this location! The house was clean and well-maintained, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The host was very professional and friendly. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

Great location

The cabin sits among the trees and provides a wonderful place to relax between hikes and sightseeing. Perfect place to stay for easy access to Mt Rainier and hiking trails.

Wonderful Mountain Retreat

Wonderful Getaway

Great property with tons to do within the ranch and very close by. Safe and friendly neighborhood. Great kitchen and awesome hot tub. Will certainly stay here again next time we visit Mt. Rainier.

Amazing property, perfect for a group

This is an excellently-equipped property. Well-managed and the amenities were exactly as described. Plenty of space for a group of people and the backyard is perfect for relaxing: fire table and hot tub; what more could you ask for? We would definitely recommend this spot for anyone wishing to spend a few days in Greenwater.

Very nice!

Great house near Crystal Mountain. Clean and well stocked making our weekend of skiing very easy. Karen is friendly and very responsive to any questions. We’ve used this cabin several times and always enjoy our stay!

Mountain Paradise

We travel and stay at many rentals and this property definitely deserves a 5-star rating. Karen was awesome to work with and the property was beautiful. We enjoyed the privacy of the property and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after hard days of hiking. We look forward to returning to this property this winter for a ski weekend. You will not be disappointed!!

Clean, cozy and great location

My family stayed in this property for three nights and we had a great stay! The property was clean, cozy and perfect for the four of us with more than enough space. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all of the cookware and utensils we needed. The hot tub was a fantastic way to relax after hikes. The property is in a great location for visiting the Crystal Mountain resort area or the Sunrise area in Mt. Rainier National Park. Karen was very informative throughout the booking process and easy to reach during our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if in the area.

Cozy, Peaceful Getaway – Perfect for a Mt. Rainier Visit!

We had an incredible stay at this charming cabin near Enumclaw while visiting Mount Rainier. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, yet close enough to town for easy access to restaurants and supplies. The cabin itself was well-appointed with all the comforts of home, including a cozy fireplace and a hot tub, which was ideal for unwinding after a long day of hiking. The large windows offered breathtaking views of the surrounding forest, making it feel like we were truly immersed in nature. We especially loved sitting out on the deck with our morning coffee, taking in the crisp mountain air and while enjoying nature. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat with easy access to Mount Rainier, I highly recommend this spot. It exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Crystal Getaway

My group of 6 stayed here for a week while we snowboarded at Crystal Mountain and couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Location is about as ideal as you can get in relation to the proximity to crystal mountain. The house itself was gorgeous in the winter time with it's seclusion in the woods. Add in the hot tub, fire place and modern amenities of the cabin, you'll be hard pressed not to enjoy your stay. Karen has a beautiful home and is also an excellent host. She was in contact with me all throughout the lead up and trip itself. Nothing came up but had it she was a quick phone call away.

Excellent!

We stayed two nights for a family ski weekend at Crystal (which is such a short drive!). The home was exceptionally clean and well maintained with very comfortable beds (and we're picky!), more space than anticipated in kitchen and living area. The extensive TV channels and Netflix were great additions that can be hard to find in a rental. We only live about an hour away and come to the mountain for hikes in the summer, would be equally as fun to stay here in the warmer months. Location couldn't be better, didn't hear a sound from neighbors (it's in a sweet, quiet community) but did get to see countless elk on the property each day which was quite special!

Spacious, beautiful, and well stocked

Great place to stay for our Crystal ski trip. It was a 20 minute drive to the hill (which has free EV charging - see Crystal website for details). The chalet was huge for 8 people and Karen has it stocked with plenty of disposable products like paper towels, garbage bags, soaps, etc. The kitchen has good pots and pans, knives, etc, not the cheap stuff you often find. I brought my own frying pan (they are never big enough) so I never saw that but the rest of the cookware and dishes were awesome for 8 people. Also - easy to get to with flat roads and ample parking.

Great summer getaway at Elk Meadow Chalet!

We loved our stay here, that allowed for 4 long-time friends to have a weekend away to catch up during the pandemic. This is a great property and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Well-appointed kitchen for meals at home. Quiet, private bedrooms and loft area perfect for groups. The property is well maintained. Pretty much 4-5 stars for everything. We spent most of our time in the living area, kitchen and back hot tub area and didn't get a chance to enjoy the spacious fenced yard. We did note that the house is in the path of an elk herd commute and saw them coming and going each day between the house and the next property. Got some great pictures! The town of Enumclaw is close enough to be able to go shopping, pick up what you need, or enjoy an evening or day out, but far enough away that this is a true getaway spot.

Perfect quiet getaway

We didn't research the location of this property as well as we should have, but we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Approximately 20 minutes from Boone and 30 minutes from Beech Mountain, this property was perfect for a quiet vacation with our kids. John allowed us the opportunity to do some sledding on the property behind the house and enjoy some free range exploring. It was magnificent to take the kids out in the snow and enjoy nature. The sledding was EPIC! If you visit in the winter, don't forget your sled. The house was extremely clean and spacious. We couldn't have asked for a better trip. It is beneficial to have 4 wheel drive for the driveway. Suggestion: be sure to have the wifi password ready upon arrival. We had to go back down the driveway and to the main road so I could have enough signal to check email to get the door code and wifi password. They were serious when they mentioned minimal/no reception. Once connected to wifi we had no issues with connection, though.

Family Christmas

Our family stay at the Elk Mountain Chalet was wonderful. Everything at the property was as described; the kitchen was perfectly outfitted, the upstairs loft was great for the children and Karen (Host) could not have been easier to work with. There is also a nice park close by. Crystal Mountain is wonderful ski area. We will return!

Great, cozy cabin

My family really enjoyed our stay at Karen's cabin. It was enough space for all 8 of us, every bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make family meals together! The location was a cherry on top with great walks along the river, a short drive to some great waterfalls, and close to Crystal ski resort. Karen was a great host, checking in on us, and offering some great local hike recommendations. We hope to return in the future.

Perfect Ski Getaway -easy distance to Crystal

We stayed for 3 days, and it was perfect for us. Fit our family of 5 easily (3 kids, 21, 19, and 15; could have brought friends). Family loved the floor plan. Place was well stocked and just as listed. We hot tubbed after skiing each night, and sat by the fire before and after dinner. The fireplace really does heat up the house nicely. It was an easy drive back and forth to the mountain. The one complaint the kids had was the network (wifi) wasnt good (gaming or social media). We were able to stream two movies on the TVs (one upstairs and one downstairs) so was really good enough. Again this was told ahead of time (spotty mountain internet). Overall perfect and we'll definitely stay here again.

Perfect experience

Exploring Mt. Rainier with out-of-town family was perfect with the chalet as our home base. Coming back to a place with warm showers, a great kitchen and grill, comfy beds, a steaming hot tub, big screen TV to watch the Women’s World Cup, and NO MOSQUITOES made our time at Mt. Rainier the highlight of my family’s trip.

Great spot in Crystal!

Karen’s place is perfect. Wonderful for a family. Has everything you’d need or want. Quick drive to Crystal. Awesome for 2 families even! She was so good to communicate with. We loved it and will be back again! This zone/location has ne looking for real estate there!!! Awesome place!
