“Good location. Value for money at the time we stayed. Much better than staying in a cabin at the holiday park- much more room and and two bedrooms. Property was in a clean state when we arrived. We didn't care that it's an older property. Key pick up and drop off was too easy.”

“The property is central to various eating establishments, including the bowling club, Illawong Pub, a bakery and coffee shop, walking distance to IGA and SPAR, gift shop etc. easy walk to the beach and another coffee shop. Had friends staying at the caravan park that is beside the bowling club, so easy to visit with them. Good sized fridge, microwave and toaster. On-site washing machine and clothes line. “We really appreciated the opportunity to relax in this well presented house. The garden was a great spot for a cuppa & just listening to birdsong. The location made it walkable to all that we needed including the local pool & gym. We hope to visit again soon.”

“We were pleasantly surprised with this property! While the other review is correct, and the property lacks creature comforts such as bedside lamps, throw pillows, pantry essentials and nice linen, it is clean, well-laid out, and a fabulous house for a family to stay at. In fact, not having meant furnishings meant we could completely relax without worrying about whether our kids would break stuff!
We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids, and the bedding configurations meant we could easily accomodate……

“Very comfortable and clean house with amazing views x Lots of room for a large family with seperate upstairs and downstairs spaces for different age groups. We thoroughly enjoyed our week with plenty of local walks and drives to nearby beaches. The local RSL and Hotel Illawong were great for evening meals and free bbq’s at the lookout were in very close proximity to the house. Will definately stay again x”

“We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Haven. Convenient to main streets for food and for fishing spots. Beds in unit are really uncomfortable though. Mattresses hard and beds squeak.
Having the pool straight outside the back gate was fantastic!! Also great to have the bbq. Overall we were really happy and would stay there again (hoping for more comfy beds).”
