My wife and I went for 2 days. The riad was absolutely clean and stunning inside. The owner was extremely helpful. Helped me find parking which was free. He explained about all the haggling outside and ensured we were was safe. Lastly, they arranged an amazing guide who showed us old town of Fes. It was a great vacation.

An absolutely beautiful property with incredible character and incredibly friendly and caring staff. Don't rely on GoogleMaps directions in Fes. It may put you on wrong streets to get here or to some of the other attractions in the area. This is definitely NOT a reason to stay some place else, once you get there you will be glad you took the extra time.

Lovely stay, the staff were incredibly helpful and treated us like royalty during our stay. The Riad is beautiful and well located. A bit out of the chaos but accessible by car so no need to worry about dragging your luggage miles through cobblestone.

This Riad is located conveniently, in the Medina but you can approach either by foot or by car. The beauty of it is unmatched and you can see traditional Moroccan objects and decoration all over the place, I absolutely loved waking up to the colorful light streaming through the Moroccan-style window and casting beautiful patterns across the room. It made the mornings feel truly special. The personnel hospitality is outstanding. They help us to arrange a tour and a taxi even with minimum time for that and they were always happy to help. Breakfast is served in a beautiful Morrocan ceramics. I recommend a lot to stay in the Riad if you are trying to have the full Moroccan experience.

We loved our stay at Riad Mazar! It is a truly special property. It is unbelievably beautiful and the owner, who is also an antiques dealer, has clearly put a lot of time and love into it. Upon our very late arrival, we were greeted warmly with tea and an explanation of the Riad. Our room was amazing - comfortable, clean, and lots of space. The bed was so comfortable and the decor was beautiful. We had such a nice stay and immediately felt at home. Breakfast every day was the best we’ve had on our trip so far. The food was plentiful and delicious, and everything was explained thoroughly. The riad is well located and it is easy to get anywhere. There are also lots of places throughout the road to relax out of the Fes heat and the hustle and bustle of the streets. Overall, I highly recommend Riad Mazar for those staying in Fes. If we could have stayed longer we would have! A wonderful experience.

It is in a good location for walking into the Medina. The owner did a very good job at renovating this and giving it a museum feeling with real antiques on display. I didn’t like that the windows were opening into a corridor. The bed linen / comforter and pillows felt like polyester and the mattress was very hard so I used the comforter to soften it. The breakfast was not to my taste despite being cooked on the site: coffee very diluted , no real bread , no yogurt and again polyester tablecloth and napkins. The swimming pool is for pictures only as it is an indoor not heated and accessible only from 2-6 pm as the rest of 20 hours “the water has to be filtered “. It’s not bad but we were spoiled at Riad Idra in Marrakech I guess. I was fair and gave it 4 stars. You can take nice pictures from inside

If someone wants to see true Moroccan beautiful architecture, this palace -like riad is a good place to stay . I really appreciated calm , well designed and cared facility with samples of art work and traditional clothing on walls like a museum.

The hotel has beautiful décor that truly makes you want to stay and enjoy the atmosphere. The owner and the staff are wonderfully kind, which makes the experience feel very welcoming. As a small suggestion, it would be very helpful to have an iron available for guests. I understand that it’s not currently provided, but it would be a thoughtful addition many would appreciate.
