"Great hotel in a small community"

"My daughter and I booked a room from April 6 - 9...3 nights. We had an amazing stay. The front desk was very helpful, staff friendly and accommodating. They were awesome answering any questions we had, The breakfast was excellent!!! The hotel was clean, spotless in fact. We would definitely stay here again. We didn't bring our dog but this hotel is pet friendly. Extra points!"

"Cute remodel of an older home in the town of Olney, IL. Quiet neighborhood with friendly folks. The host was very responsive (like immediately!) to questions as well a minor issue of logging into the streaming TV services. Speaking of which, there are very nice, large flat-screen TVs in every bedroom (3) and living room, which was greatly appreciated during March Madness. The house has a few quirks, but very comfortable and cozy, with everything you need for a few nights or even a longer stay."

"Unique and historical spot with a great pizza and coffee shop on the same block. The property is situated on main st which provides excellent access but does mean some road and traffic noise that could be difficult for a light sleeper."

"Unfortunately our reason for visiting the area was a family funeral, but we could not have been happier with our stay at Chateau Monroe. The hosts thought of literally everything, and when you’re traveling with small children (and dogs), having what you need after a long drive is priceless. Chateau Monroe was spotless, and so cozy and we loved the modern and industrial decor and touches. It’s obvious a lot of thought and love was put into this home. We’ve stayed at numerous VRBO properties in multiple states, and this one by far exceeded our expectations! If we ever happen to be in the area again, we would absolutely stay here."

"We loved staying at the Lodge this past weekend. It has fantastic views & the indoor pool was great. Lots of comfy seating to all hang out together & plenty of room to explore nature outside. I would defiantly go back & bring the family next time."
